CF Mitch Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid. I watched (or played or whatever) something Star Wars somewhere last week and it suddenly made me want the Jet Troopers very much Regards, CF W Quote
astra Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 My wife bought me the limousine and helicopter set (3222). That was a nice suprise coming home from work yesterday Quote
Brick & Mortimer Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Imperial Flagship finally arrived I had it shipped to my parents place for two reasons 1) I lack the space to display it in our tiny appartement; 2) to annoy my parents. They don't like me spending alot of money on Lego and instead would rather see me save money to buy a house (a real one that is, not made from plastic bricks ) Only drawback is that the flagship will stay in it's box for another month. Me and my girlfriend build all our sets together, and she's studying for her exams , and since the set is at my parents place it's not easy to pop over for a couple of hours of building when she should be studying. Ah well, her final exam is on wednesday June 16, so hopefully we'll be able to build it the following weekend Quote
Zorbas Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Just bought my first PoP set, 7569 Desert Attack and five Collectible minifigs. They're cool! Quote
CF Mitch Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I also bought my first number of the minifig collection. I picked five bags semi-randomly (the shoplady kept watching me, like it was some sort of exciting game so I was distracted) and ended up with: The robot. The magician The caveman (twice) The wrestler Quote
Alex the Great Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Got a Battle of Alamut set today, it's great! Quote
SilentMode Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) Having weaned myself away from lot buying on feeBay, I discovered BrickLink for the first time last week. BrickLink has literally been like crack. (But to clairfy: I've been buying extra parts for my first diorama, and also parts for custom minifigs.) Edited May 21, 2010 by SilentMode Quote
CF Mitch Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 To my surprise, several Bart Smit's suddenly have the new LEGO summer line of a lot of themes, including SW. So I bought the Slave 1 Regards, CF W Quote
Plastic Nurak Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Next week I'm undecided if buying Technic set #8297, sold for 99 € 99 in Mangiobricks online store or waiting (my wallet needs to breathe!) and turning down to less expensive #8046 Helycopter. Quote
fenrir Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 (edited) Today I bought the 2 smaller Kingdoms sets. The 7949 and 7950 . I am suprised I can buy these sets in almost every toystore in the Netherlands, because I can't buy them from Lego.com/ for the Dutch people on this forum: I bought them at the V&D, you can trade your Airmiles for a 50% discount. (* So you pay 50% of the price and 50% airmiles. counts on all the LEGO sets) FENRIR Edited May 22, 2010 by fenrir Quote
Zorbas Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 6 more Collectible Minifigs, (still randomly picked -- I guess I don't have what it takes to consult the barcode picture I have in my cellphone... ) 4 of them being unique. Total: 11 minifigs, 9 unique. Not bad at all. Quote
Mofo Jones Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Bought PoP Desert Attack the other day. Forgot to post about it. Hopefully I will find some of the Minifigures next week. Bring on the zombies! Quote
CF Mitch Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Today I started my search for the other SW summer sets. And luckily I found them (at the Intertoys, Weimarstraat). So I bought General Grievous' Starfighter. And two collectible figures with it: The Nurse The Ninja Regards, CF W Quote
NewRight Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I bought a few Collectible Minifigures along with both of the new Kingdoms impulses and the $6.99 Kingdoms set. Quote
larry marak Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Lego set 30040, an Atlantis impulse set in the candy section at check-out from a store. Builds a nifty little octopus, and has one of the Atlantis keys of course. Also picked up Vertical Viper Vengeance, K'nex's newest coaster, but thats off topic here. Old Man Marak (I'll be 60 August 5th, everybody send me your unwanted clone elements). Quote
jerba Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 15 Collectible minifigs today! 2x Zombie 2x Forestman 2x Clown 1x Skater 1x Cheerleader 1x Nurse 1x Robot 1x Spaceman 1x Magician 1x Indian 1x Cowboy 1x Caveman Almost there... Quote
SilentMode Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I bought another lot of mixed Lego off of feeBay... £36 for 3.5 kilos. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I ordered a set (all 16) of the collectable minifigs from Bricklink. I'm hoping I'll then be able to pick up extras of the ones I like the most. Quote
posades Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Bought two of the new summer impulse sets from TRU yesterday; although they had most of them for purchase, I only picked up the Wizard from the Kingdoms line and the Farmer from the City line because they had of course raised the price from the MSRP. Quote
Rapseflaps Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I went out to Oberhausen today to find out what a LEGO store looks like in real life. I ended up going home with three custom minifigs and a brick seperator (my first!). I also bought 7566 (Farmer impulse set), 5891 (Apple Tree House) and 3221 (LEGO City Truck). Funny enough, I didn't get the truck at the LEGO store. They didn't have it there. They did have it at the kids department of the Kaufhaus two doors down though. Funny how that works. Quote
ILikePi Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I bought Echo Base for $15 USD (normally $25) at Target today. I waited a whole year for it to go on sale at a price like this! I've built everything up to the trench so far. The tauntaun looks much cooler in person (plus it comes with a birthmark in the form of a 5 number/letter code on the back of its left foot ). For some reason my tauntaun's right arm makes squeaky noises when moved around (see a video here). I love the design of the E-Web! The battery pack and wire is only 5 parts, but it really completes the gun. One of my fleshie smiley faces came a bit misprinted, but I love misprints as you basically get it for free once TLG sends you a replacement Quote

CF Mitch Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I went to the Intertoys again for two collectible minifigures. Now I also have: The Diver The Zombie Not too thrilled about either, but what the heck I also ordered the Clone Turbo Tank and The Emperor's Shuttle on www.a-tembo.nl (thanks very much to Alldarker for the tip ) They'll probably arrive somewhere in the first week of June Regards, CF W Quote
