Zorbas Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Those Kingdoms sets look great! The big surprise is that they had the 7950 for 4 euros and it was only today I discovered that a normal price is around 7. Cheaper LEGO in Greece? They made a mistake in pricing I guess. Quote

Dan the Brickman Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I recently acquired a complete (minus the anchor string) 6274 Caribbean Clipper, I just picked up 2 of the farmer and wizard impulses from the lego store....and... Any day now, I should be getting my order of series 2 mini-figs. Quote
yumiyoshi Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 (edited) I've completed the S1 and the S2. Then some boxes: And the Advent Calendar Edited September 14, 2010 by yumiyoshi Quote
Sisco Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Very fruitful day for me... I went to Target on the tip off from Brickset that they had Collectible Minifigures series 2. I looked, and they did. (Thank God for Brickset!!!) The boxes were pretty picked over, and I only had money for twelve. Okay. So I whip out my barcode sheet on my iPod, only to find... That I had the British Barcodes. Shit. So, I randomly picked 12. Here are the results, and a mini-review for each. 1 Lifeguard. I was pretty impressed with this one. Very nice body print and leg print. 1 Witch. I love this one, surprisingly. I absolutely adore the printing. 1 70's DJ. Oh. My. Gosh. He looks exactly like my father did in the 70's... 3 Traffic Cops. I was kind of disappointed that three were traffic cops. I would have been happier with one, but what can I do? Nice printing, I love the Speeding Ticket. 1 Mime. I laughed at this one. The three heads did it for me. 1 Pop singer. She's very... Pink. Her hair reminds me of Faith Hill. 1 Weight lifter. I like him, especially the look on his face 1 Karate Master. I love the Dooku hair in black. The trophies are awesome. 1 Ring Master. Meh, not my favorite. Would have preferred a pharaoh. 1 Spartan. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Seeing as the box was pretty well harvested, I did not expect to get him. My favorite of the bunch that I got. Quote
squiz Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Broke my foot last week playing football so im pretty depressed. Perfect chance to build some models though as i cant do much but sit on my backside for 2 months! Just ordered the modular Firestation which i cant wait to build, comes with a free creator helicopter which is good. Got a bricklink order for the minifig competition too. Spent more than the prizes are worth on pieces but i guess thats not the point Quote

Lego is a great thing to do when you're suffering with broken bones...unless you break both of your elbows. Then that's just difficult.... Anyway, I recently bought the Snowtrooper Battlepack, and will hopefully be buying a second Clone Walker battle pack before they disappear soon, if I can find one. I need pistols and Clone Trooper gear...and the walker will go great with my Imperial Army. Oh I also managed to snag another Manta Warrior set for £2.50 before the prices went up to £3.00 Will/Rocketbilly Quote

fred67 Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 (edited) 1 Witch. I love this one, surprisingly. I absolutely adore the printing. D'oh!!! You got a witch! Glad to hear it... I ordered two from a BL store before I got any random figures from S@H, but NONE of my Targets (x4 now), TRU (x2) or LEGO Store had ANY figures. Outside the contest, I want to make a larger "Witches from Hamlet" vignette. To this date, I still have yet to see a pack in a brick and mortar store, the only ones I've seen I got online. That said, in the spirit of the thread, I tried to order 16 more from S@H, and so far they haven't complained. It's been a few weeks, so maybe they let it slide... but I'm not holding my breath. To bulk up the order so that I didn't have to pay shipping, I also got: Wizard (x2) Jester (x2) Prison Carriage Rescue (x2... to make a large wagon) Outpost Attack Edited September 16, 2010 by fred67 Quote

Diaaabo Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Traded some minifigs, today the cheerleader and the nurse arrived by mail. Plastic issues aside, they look lovely I'm probably going to enter the EB contest with them Quote
kostasm13 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Just got yesterday the midi scale Millenium Falcon (7778). It's my first Star Wars set. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but this was a very beautiful set. Quote
SilentMode Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Treated myself to set 3222 (Helicopter and Limo) via the Lego online store. Quote
Diaaabo Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 And just ordered some more minifigs: Clone Pilot from 8088 & Onaconda Farr. Quote

sok117 Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Yesterday I bought Plo Koon's starfighter at my local Toysrus, they also had Star Wars mighty Beanz, and since I'm a diehard SW fan, I had to pick some of them up too Quote

Soundmanred Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Took advantage of the "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" sale at Toys R Us! Got Spongebob's Good Neighbors Set, the Kingdoms Prison Tower Rescue set, and the City Train Station set. Spongebob's house was cooler than I expected, and the other two have yet to be opened yet! Also got some Series 2 Minifigs at Wal Mart (surprisingly!). Got a Mariachi Man, Surfer, Skiier, Vampire, Lifeguard, Mime, Spartan, Witch, Cop, and Pop Star. They have an almost full box, so I'll go back for the rest tomorrow! Quote
Hey75 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 A small reward for my son, his second SW set. Quote
fred67 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 (edited) Arrived: new set of 16 random Series 2 figures from S@H... don't have the patience to list them all, but no spartans, no pop singer, no vampire, no explorer... that's twice, two sets of 16, both without any of those. Also got: Got two prison carriage rescues to make one good cart with two horses. A small reward for my son, his second SW set. Nice reward! I'm sure he deserved it... it's great being a dad.
