Duelpear Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Got an amazing deal through Amazon Warehouse deals today. 7676 Republic Gunship for $114. Sounds like the box might be damaged but for almost $100 cheaper than anywhere else for a retired set? Sign me up! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 EBayed and finally won my first 8403 City House, a 2nd 7285 Police K-9 Unit, and a 7th 3661 Bank for $64 + $10 to ship. Only bought it for the great deal and the house. Didn't think I'd ever find an auction that had a good deal on that house. TLG discontinued it before I could get one Quote

badboytje88 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Welcome to eurobricks. Wow $200?! I find that a complete waste of money... When are you going to us an orange ghost? On the other hand, it sure is pretty. I've bought non production parts before. But they never cost more than $10. You must be one hell of a serious collector. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Whoa that is really high for on figure What is your main focus in Lego collecting? Minifigs or what theme(s)? Quote

buddy Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Also, yesterday I reserved a 7937 Train Station from Argos at £17.99, £17 less than the RRP of £34.99, I'll go and pick it up today at a local Argos. Yesterday I went and picked up the 7937, it's a great set. Today, I went to Tesco again and got a 5761 Mini Digger, 5762 Mini Plane and my 2nd 3365 Space Buggy, with all of them being at 20% off. ~buddy~ Quote

I've built the first two, and I have to say that HF's new system is very promising. The Ninjago game is also pretty fun 9once you get someone to play with you ). Quote

Stegoceras Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Finally stumbled upon the Collectable minifigures in a store near me, was very surprised. So I got a few of them. Actually got 4 doubles (mummy, Elf, Indian and Baseballer) thanks to relying on the silly 'looking for the dots' method (which just are too vague or completly of course to get a decent chance of getting the figure I wanted), but when I switched to the 'feeling' method I quickly had the remaining figures (all but the Hula-girl cause I just couldn't locate it in the box and eventually got fed up, will return to the shop soon). Later in another store I also stumbled upon a box with a few left-over figures from series 1 to my surprise and decided to pick up the two remaining variants that were in there as well (diver and magician) Quote
