Stopped by Target on my lunch hour and picked up 8080 Undersea Explorer for $29.99 and the Ninjago polybag set. Checked the clearance aisle and found two LEGO game sets, 3836 Magikus for $2.62 and 3837 Monster 4 for $3.24 ... prices that were too good to pass up.

Well, there was a sale at TRU today, so I got:

Police Station

Traveller (I wanted to get about 20 of this so I would have more of those red shirts, I use them as space uniforms, but they only had 1 left...)

Sea Jet The only reason I got this one was that there was a buy one get 1 1/2 off for the impulse sets, but it doesn't really have any particularly good parts (though the Atlantis diving suits I use occasionally as space suits)... Oh well, I still got about 20 parts I didn't have before, and a few of the parts became an inspiration for a spider walker that I might finish eventually.

So I went to the local flea market as my LEGO addiction makes me do almost every Sunday.

One of the places had a used 7702 Thunder Fury with instructions for ~14 USD. Now, that price is usually too high for me for used bricks, but it was the first time I have ever seen a first-wave exo-force mech and the TF just looks very cool live. I had to get it.

Then I kept on walking and found one place in which they usually sell minifigs. This time , I noticed an iron drone standing on the green plate. As I was asking for the price I noticed there was another drone in the opposite side, so I was about to get both when the seller told me if I wanted more of them. It turns out she had 5 iron drones and 2 devastators, so I got them all for around 5 USD.

I have recently gotten officially hooked by the exo-force robots' sets and the robot minifigs. It seems that the exo-force gods blessed me today, I really wanted a chance to army build the minifigs and it is always good to be able to get a robots' mech I didn't have before. Only complain is that two of my three new devastators are of the trans red kind, which is my least favorite, but I am nitpicking.

I don't think 30061 has come to the US. I've seen 30062 at Target stores though.

TRU at Times Square still has a large number of Indiana Jones 7195 (Ambush in Cairo) sets for only $9.99... So I got one with this week's 10% discount.

Also went to the Lego store at Queens Center: because of the USD - EUR conversion rate, I got the Medieval Market Village a bit cheaper than what I'd normally pay in Europe. Also got one of the Easter polybags and the Winter Village Bakery which is on sale for $38.50

Now I have to try and figure out how to get all these sets home safely... :-)

Today I've gotten Lego Star Wars III. Today my Toys"R"Us is getting a truck in today so I'm going to look for some minifigures. :classic: (please let them be $2.99.....)

If America is anything like the UK then the minifigs don't come in on truck deliveries but are delivered by couriers along with the collectors cards, stickers etc

Eh. I don't think so. I'm pretty sure they're on the truck.
