This was actually over the weekend, and the falcon came in the mail, but around $250 later.

Brickworld has this "must buy lots of LEGO" effect on me it seems (probably related to the much better prices here in the US compared to at home in Norway)

So I've bought..

4181 Isla de Muerta

4191 Captain's Cabin

4192 Fountain of Youth

4194 Whitecap Bay (in grab-bags for 16 USD )

4840 The Burrow

7066 Earth Defense HQ (in grab-bags for 16 USD )

7189 Mill Village Raid

7306 Golden Staff Guardians

7307 Flying Mummy Attack

7570 Ostrich Race x 2, on clearance at Target

7984 Deep Sea Raider

10211 Grand Emporium

10218 Pet Shop

10129 Maersk Train

Various stuff from Pick-a-Brick, in part to get a proper cup for drinking beer.

various Brickarms and Brickforge stuff, and a t-shirt from brickshirts.com. And I think that's all.

Wait, so you got Whitecap Bay for $16???? With box and all?? IF so, OMFG, I'm jealous.

Let's see, what did I buy at Brickworld.

[*]Idea Book 6000, Legoland

That made the total weight of my suitcase 52 pounds. Luckily Continental Airlines didn't charge me an additional fee for overweight.

That is a great find, where did you get the Idea Book 6000? Was it a vendor at the Brickworld show?

I picked up the following at Brickworld....

1 PaB cup filled with Dark Red 1x2 Brick

1 PaB cup filled with Dark Tan 1x2 and Dark Tan 2x2 tile

3 of the Heroica Sets

1 Pet Shop

1 Diagon Alley

1 Fire Brigade

1 Emerald night

1 Falling Water

1 Alien Conquest Earth Defense HQ

1 Alien Conquest Alien Striker

1 Master Builder Academy

1 Series 4 minifig

1 Log Cabin for parts draft

1 Harry Potter Forbidden Forest

1 Brick Calendar

Where'd you get the MF? They're finally out in the States...what state are you in?

Oh no, the falcon is from 2009, they were in stores almost two years ago. You certainly won't find one in a store now.

I bought mine here on Eurobricks from another member. It just happened to show up this weekend, when I also bought all the pictured PotC sets.

Came back from my family reunion on Eagle Cove, Dale Hollow Lake, TN to find that the bids I left on eBay won me 3 MISB 7638 Tow Trucks for $10 each +$6 shipping, another 7936 for a grand total of $19.99, and a lot of 1980's race ways including 6395, 6381, 6503, and 1497 for $59.99 + $8 shipping. Really excited to finally get the Victory Lap Speedway :classic:

Yep, a vendor at Brickworld had it for $15 complete with all the stickers. It is the best idea book LEGO ever made.

Very cool!

That was my favorite once when I was a child. I really looked how the book told a story.

It's "that time" of the year here in Australia when the department store chains start having their mid-year toy sales. I popped by my local Myer department store today to get the Atlantis board game, and came out with the game, Millennium Falcon and Tower Bridge

And next week Kmart, Target and Big W (who will stock the UCS Imperial Shuttle) start their sales...

"In grab-bags" kinda implies that there was no box. But seeing as a box would have had to go to get it back home anyway it's no bother. Besides, I don't care about boxes, they take up too much space and serve no function.

Yesterday I purchased $65 worth of BrickArms. There was a new brand of custom guns that was for sale on BrickRepublic, I bought a couple of those to.

Got Mill Village Raid. It's beautiful!

TRU are having this weird "buy 2, get 1 90% sale", so zee kid got an Alien Defender and I picked up a 5929 Castle Bricks and More set for the arches and doors.

Using my birthday money, I bought 6900 Cyber Saucer and 6915 Warp Wing Fighter, costing £31 altogether(inc. postage). Not a bad deal.

I've also got my eye on a bunch of Ice Planet stuff...

Bluebeard, out-

I always loved the Warp Wing Fighter. I refer to that as "LEGO's first x-wing".

Liked it so much when it came out, I bought four of them.

I went to Argos to get Isla de la Muerta, but they had none in stock. They also had no Captain's Cabins, and they haven't got the Forbidden Forest in yet, either. I went to Asda, though, and they had Captain's Cabin on the shelf so I picked one up. I was surprised at how tiny the box was, it was about as small as an impulse set! But that doesn't matter too much.

I plan to get either the Forbidden Forest or Isla de la Muerta sometime soon.

Decided to check out two flea markets today... Practically no Lego available, but I did find a MISB 2870 Paradisa Barbeque for USD 0.70

A tiny treasure that made me very happy :sweet:

That's a pretty nice deal, good for you! I wish I could find great little offers like that.
