Picked up 17 series 5 minifigures from FiveBelow. The clerk says "that's a lot of money for a bunch of Lego guys". I said " yeah, I know".

It was ages ago since I bought sets, then I stumbled on this deal:

7895 City of Atlantis: 42 EUR (instead of 70 EUR)

7977 Seabed Strider: 6 EUR (insted of 10 EUR)

8061 Gateway of the Squid: 24 (insted of 40 EUR)

I only collect LEGO Harry Potter and the Collectable Minifigures, so I almost never buy big sets of other series, but these sets have awesome parts and minifigures. First build the sets, then scavenge them for parts. :)

For those fellow Belgians: Dreamland (Roeselare in my case) is the place to be!

Was SUPPOSED TO get my Brickmaster City book yesterday but, crappy ol' Canada Post screwed the pooch yet AGAIN!

Gawd they suck!

I'd better get it Monday, because if I don't, they'll be hearing from me one MORE time. Ugh. I wish Amazon would switch back to using Purolator, or even UPS. Neither of those two sucked anywhere NEAR as bad as Canada Post does.

2521 Lightning Dragon Battle

2509 Earth Dragon Defense

No HP trolley polybag though, bummer.

Please do a review of the Lightning Dragon- no one else has yet! :cry_sad:

Anyway, my last purchase was the Republic Frigate and the new Hoth Echo Base at TRU. I got the base at half off with a receipt from that sale they had a while back!

It has some new cool parts (chocolate ice cream) and also some cool minifig parts. I will probably be listing the actual Sponge Bob figure on Bricklink soon.

Got the camper for my daughter. And for me, my first Technic set: 8067 Mini Mobile Crane. It's pretty awesome, very different from System building, very satisfying seeing how everything comes together. I wish I could afford one of the bigger Technic sets, but I can't even afford to get all the System sets I've got my eye on.

Just picked up set 8160 Speed Racer Cruncher Block & Racer X at a local toy shop for $30. Pretty good for a three year old set and that it was $40 when it came out.

I went shopping earlier and snagged 7978 Angler Attack on sale for £10, and 8424 Mater's Spy Zone for £5. I only went out for a magazine...

That's never happened to me before. :sarcasm::laugh:

My TRU finally had some Series 5 CMFs in stock. I spent some time feeling up packets and ended up with a Dwarf (the one I was most hoping for), a Gladiator, Eskimo (Inuit?) Fisherman, and Lizard Suit Man. Those are all the ones I most wanted from this series, so I'm ecstatic. Great figures for fantasy scenarios, and now I don't feel like I HAVE to go buy some old Fantasy Castle set just so I can have at least one Dwarf.

Of course, I do still need some trolls...
