airsoftg36c Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 My birthday is this month, and I got a TON of money. I was given a few CMs from just about every collection, and a few SW figs. I bought the Dwarf, Godzilla, and the gladiator from S5, and the PotC Isla De Muerta. Next time I go to walmart, I'm gonna pick up another PotC set. Quote

LEGO Guy Bri Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Today I had a second chance offer for a second 7893 Passenger plane for $50. Definitely a price I'm willing to pay for that large plane. I wish TLC would bring back another large plane Quote

Gryphon Ink Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Forgive me, friends, for I have sinned. I wandered through TRU with the kids today, hoping to find a couple of CMFs, and ended up buying myself one green baseplate and ONE PLAYMOBIL SET for my youngest. Sorry, but Playmobil have Lego thoroughly whipped in the category of small playsets with lots of teeny accessories for kinder to set up house with. It strikes me that this is actually the category that the new Friends theme is trying to get a foothold in. All those miniature spatulas and shop tools that I saw in the leaked Friends pics are remarkably similar to Playmobil's accessories. Not only that, but the minifigs with the one-piece legs are exactly how the Playmobil figs are made. We see a lot of cases of competitors copying Lego designs, but this is one case where TLG is following the competition's example. Quote
Capt. Bluebeard Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Just ordered 2260 Ice Dragon Attack from Amazon. This'll probably be the last "proper" Ninjago purchase I make before next year. Although, having said that, it would be cool to have all four dragons... Bluebeard, out- Quote

Splat Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) I just got back home from a business trip to the US, where I picked up this little stash of Lego: Clockwise from the top: 10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van 7051 Alien Conquest Tripod Invader 7050 Alien Conquest Alien Defender (x5) 7049 Alien Conquest Alien Striker (x5) 853301 Alien Conquest Battle Pack (x5) 8886 PF Extension Wire (x7) 8871 PF Extension Cable (x7) 8870 PF Light Set (x6) 8869 PF Polarity Switch (x4) 8879 PF IR Speed Remote Control 8884 PF IR Receiver 8878 PF Rechargeable Battery Box (x3) 3300001 {Brickley} 7958 2011 Star Wars Advent Calendar (x2) I unboxed most of the sets so they took up less room in my luggage, and the boxes I did bring home survived quite well, except the {Brickley} box which got a bit squashed. Now I just have to find some time to put it all together... Edited April 10, 2013 by Splat Quote
