When the Target Practice came out in some Targets, none of the ones near me had it. Quote

When the Target Practice came out in some Targets, none of the ones near me had it. Sure thing. And yeah, my local Target did not have any. The Target by my fiancé had at least $50 laying around on a shelf. She didn't quite understand why I would buy more than one, so I made it easy on her and only grabbed the three, haha. We may be going there again today in which case I may grab another few! Quote
minifig_erik Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Just picked up Nex 3.0, My first Hero Factory set, I'm intrigued as to what they will be like Quote
charlieboy Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 We've had a good Christmas this year although my Son's haul was a little better than my own! My boys- Mine- Ive also placed several Bricklink orders too Quote
TheLegoDr Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 charlieboy The 32 boxed sets makes my measly 18 pale in comparison. Nice haul this year. I don't know what to do with all of mine, I can't imagine what they will do with all of theirs. Quote

Legoman Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Today I saw a box of Lego at a local Market which is Rather unusual, with 5 more sealed bags for fairly basic sets beside it. Picked up the lot, just for the sake of it Quote
SilvaShado Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Sure thing. And yeah, my local Target did not have any. The Target by my fiancé had at least $50 laying around on a shelf. She didn't quite understand why I would buy more than one, so I made it easy on her and only grabbed the three, haha. We may be going there again today in which case I may grab another few! I'm happy to report that I went to two Targets near me and found a total of 9 sets. If they had a lot, there went very very fast. I'm lucky that my husband and I are both AFOLs so I didn't have to convince him of the value of buying multiple copies. Though I don't need the Harry Potter figures, you can't buy him for $1.19. So I'm hoping to sell the figures to friends who like Harry Potter while using the rest of the pieces in our own MOCs. I do hope that the Star Wars polybag goes on sale soon. The target nearest me has every register full of them. And there's some nice dark grey and dark red plates that I'd love to have for building. Quote
sok117 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Lloyd Garmadon booster pack to use the cape and hood on my Robin figure. He looks great! Quote
SilvaShado Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 So happy that I was able to get the Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase, set #6864, yesterday! We put it together and I think the Batmobile is just the sexiest LEGO car I've ever seen! My husband got a little jealous of the attention. lol! Quote
charlieboy Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 An awesome couple of Lego weeks ended with me buying myself The Queen Anne's Revenge! Saving up for the Black Pearl now too and a mahoosive display case to put them in! Quote
surrideo Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Batmobile/two face chase plus a pharoahs quest Battle pack to take it over £50 for the Kendo jay free gift Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 After recovering from gift giving for Christmas, I decided to spend some on myself for a late haul. I just won NIB 10231 Shuttle Adventure for $20 under MSRP and ordered a small BL order and a NIB 10210 Imperial Flagship for 20 over MSRP Quote
danim Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Well Not bought today but arrived from Lego this morning: 9480: Finn McMissile 8201: Mater 4433 Dirt Bike Transporter 4434 Tipper Truck 4439 Heavy-Lift Helicopter Also I got the free Ningago set Kendo Jay Battle Pack so not a bad days building Quote
nicoga3000 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I've put in four Bricklink orders in the past two days to try and get all the parts ironed out for: One final order and I should be done. Holy lord...It's getting expensive (mainly the stupid 2x2 green corner blocks). I've actually opted to swap out the 2x8 bricks for twice the number of 2x4 bricks. A few little tweaks here and there, but I think it's about done! I'm SO excited to get all the orders in and display this adorable guy. Quote
Nebsirob Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Technically, it wasn't today (I ordered on Dec 30th), but since it arrived today: 6857 Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex And I also got a free Kendo Jay Booster Pack. (My first Ninjago set) Quote
nicoga3000 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I did it! I made my final Bricklink purchases and rounded up all the pieces for the dragon! It was expensive (probably about the same price parted out as it would have been to just buy one), but it was a really solid learning experience on Bricklink! Now the wait begins! Shipment from Norway will probably take some time, and that one has 120 of the 142 Green 2x2 Corners. -_- Quote
ACWWgal2011 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) Found a bag of mixed lego bricks including 5 full figures plus one just missing legs at a kind of good wills store. After doing a little research on bricklink, i found out that for only 4 dollars, i was able to get the majority of the Troll mountain fortress set. All that appears to be missing is Troll Queen / Sorceress and a knight minifigures, the 2 troll figures, and a few minor pieces. I am thinking about rebuilding the set though when is a different question. Edited January 5, 2012 by ACWWgal2011 Quote
Sarah Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 On january 1st, I purchased Olivia's Inventor's Workshop Yesterday I got the Butterfly Beauty Shop! First two sets in my on-premise stock (I have a bunch of stuff in deep storage that I'd have to get to and inventory to see what is actually there. But I don't think I've purchased anything since the late 90s) Quote
