Today I ordered :

Dino 2012 :

5885 Triceratops Trapper (I love the design of this vehicle - and the triceratops of course !)

Friends :

3183 Stephanie’s Cool Convertible  (This car is really fashion  )

City 2012 :

4438 Robbers' Hideout (The bear ! The hideout ! The robbers' car ! )

4437 Police Pursuit ( The dark red four-wheel drive vehicle is really cool  )

4435 Car and Camper (I never had a trailer in my city ! )

4434 Dump Truck ( The red wheelbarrow is a must-have, and the truck is well designed in orange)

4433 Dirt Bike Transporter ( 2 bikes and an excellent SUV ! Perfect set ! )

4431 Ambulance ( I like the ambulance, of course, but also the green bicycle, the street furniture and the 3 minifigs included !)

4208 Fire Truck (I appreciate the fact that the truck is also a little command center with space in it, and including a burning tree )

I had a 10% discount from my usual Lego retailer. I initially wanted to get some of the Star Wars 2012 sets but they are too expensive for the moment. Will see later for them.

So I went to the LEGO store and used my 10% off any item + $20 VIP credit and grabbed 10197 Fire Brigade. It was between that and the Mini Modular set, but I decided that Fire Brigade would go OOP sooner than any of the other sets I was considering. Good purchase at $122 after tax!

I missed out on the first comic book sets a few years ago...Dark Ages...Picked these up from Amazon:

LEGO Super Heroes Batwing Battle Over Gotham City 6863

LEGO Super Heroes Batmobile and The Two-Face Chase 6864

LEGO Super Heroes Catwoman Catcycle City Chase 6858

LEGO Super Heroes Superman Vs Power Armor Lex 6862

I'm not all that interested in the larger sets. I wish there was a minifigs pack...

I missed out on the discounted Winter Toy Shops, so as revenge I bought the last two Mill Village Raids from Westfield Stratford. I was also caught off-guard by the presence of 1x8 tiles in white at Westfield London's PAB wall.

Today I picked up some Series 6 CMFs from my local Lego store. Ran into 2 other AFOLs also buying some. :classic: Picked up Highlander, Robot, Surgeon, Bandit, Grey Alien. I am very impressed with them all.

A few days ago, I picked up the Alien Conquest Mobile HQ (very excited to build it). I also got the Batman/Catwoman set along with the Superman/Lex Luther/Wonder Woman set.

Today I ordered a couple small BL orders including one 7634 Tractor and from eBay, two 3677 Tipper Cars. Lastly I finally won a 4549 Container Double Stack and a second 4555 Freight Loading Station. Both a little more than I wanted to pay but, still way lower the BL default_classic.gif

just one set

4438 Bandit's Hideout Cabin

although that means I have all the city sets I want at the moment until the next wave comes out

I got a lot of trees from a seller on Craigslist.

all told,

15 small pine trees

15 regular pine trees

12 fruit trees

30 bushes

7 cypress trees

All for $25

I think I got a good deal considering the prices of the cypress trees are going bricklink.

You got him away from the Kryptonite that must have weakened him in the box

I love the Superman set...but anyways I bought 5888 Ocean Interceptor and now the kids have 2 sets to complete the wave, nice little set, perhaps short in pieces and the 7915 V Wing

Last night we bought 2504-1 Spinjitzu Dojo on clearance at Target. I never wanted it before, but my wife showed me a few clearance sets, so I thought about it while we were in the store and decided to get it. It is still unopened. I'll have to think about it some more. I don't love Ninjago, but it has enough architectural detail to resemble Fire Temple without having to spend a fortune.

The problem with clearance is I would buy sets that I normally wouldn't buy just because it is cheaper. I never would have considered it at full price. Oh well, I guess that is how Lego pulls you in!

Very much so. Bought the V Wing the other day and at its RRP that was a very poor set but at give or take half price and a couple of decent minifigs it justified the sale price.

Today I bought another venorami shrine, this time thankfully with a better printed zane and Jays storm fighter. Its going to be an eclectic weekends building with the plane and the batcave
