Caved in and bought the Sopwith Camel in the weekend while it was 20% off. Brilliant set. Pefect size, good price, fun build and great display model - and fits nicely in your hand for swooshing

Would happily recommend that one!

Also put in a ~$300 bricklink order for some parts and baseplates :classic:

I haven't purchased a lot of LEGO in a while, so I haven't posted in here. However...

I had my first visit to a LEGO Brand store in Kansas City recently and let's just say, it will be a memorable one.

Haunted House

Winter Village Inn

Palpatine's Arrest

Pet Shop

Large Pick-a-brick cup

Build-a-minifigure

Wedding topper set

Duplo Cinderella's Castle (for my daughter)

Friends advent calendar (last one in stock!!)

Plus, thanks to double VIP points month, I would say I came out nicely. Granted, this is all for Christmas other than the Pick-a-brick.

Definitely check out that store, the workers there were great. Too bad I live 3 hours away and won't be returning for quite some time.

Series 8 Alien Villainness and the Actor. One figure less than my first haul, but I'm still far more excited about these two.

I bought the Prince Of Persia: Battle of Alamut (7573) with a clearance reduction: only € 46. Although it's a bad movie, the set is great. Glad I picked it up!

I just bought that early 90s Classic Town monorail off the 'Bay. It wasn't cheap, but being a rare old thing that doesn't appear in the UK very often (I just checked Bricklink!) I don't mind too much. If all goes to plan it'll form the centrepiece of a MOC Town layout I'm working on.

Besides, since I left my Dark Ages I've only bought two sets and some bags of spares for my recent MOC project so I owe it to myself, right?

At least, that's what I'll be telling myself as I try to pay off the resulting credit card bill during the next month or two...

That isn't just any set! That's like, the holy grail of all wide-released Town sets! You're super lucky! *oh2*

I've bought the 7938 City train yesterday. Nice to have, my son and daughter can now play each with a train, but the set overall is a bit of a disappointment if you ask me.

I just placed an order for the Grand Emporium yesterday evening. I wanted to put it on my wish list for christmas, but I realized that I could save 10%, a reasonable amount for a set that expensive, by ordering it now and just wishing for money instead.

So now I'm basically the kind of person who buys christmas presents for himself. Don't think I'm not going to wrap it, either! xD
