Javert Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 not strictly bought by me, more my parents but that doesn't matter :P 9474 The Battle of Helms Deep 9473 The Mines of Moria 9476 The Orc Forge 9470 Shelob Attacks bring my Lego LOTR collection nearer to completion (just need an Uruk Hai Army or two to complete the collection, then Hobbit is the next priority, however it's difficult because they were brought out now... by the time I could afford them, they'd be gone probably, but I'll probably pick up Riddles at some point! TheLegoDr Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) Christmas was good to me (from the Mrs and mother). I'll let the picture speak for itself. And a fun surprise for the halfling. She's obsessed with doctors. Edited December 26, 2012 by TheLegoDr Quote

TheLegoDr Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Unbelievable haul as always, TheLegoDr. But exactly how many themes do you collect? How do you find room and time for so many different themes? I collect way too many themes. I am considering dropping some, but it can be hard. I love LOTR/Hobbit so those are keepers. I love the winter village sets and the modulars, but otherwise city is a no buy for me. As for time, I have very little. I rarely find time to build. I can mostly just look at pieces on display. As for room, we have a huge basement essentially just for LEGO. Time/money are bigger issues than space. Quote
Javert Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Uruk Hai Army - at long last, nowhere in Edinburgh had it then out of the blue Toys R Us get it in! (reduced to £26.49 too so an excellent buy) Quote

I've told myself many(many, many....blah)times I wasn't going to get a theme when I initially saw photos, both Alien Conquest & Pharoahs Quest, but, of course I own them all. Quote

astra Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Received the Lego 3677 train yesterday and had it build in about an hour. Really nice train to complement my collection, but in terms of playability the 7939 trainset is better I think. Quote
