Mr_Malfoy Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 My copy of The Bat vs. Bane: Tumbler Chase came in from Amazon today. I love it! Now I'm saving up for the Arkham Asylum set... Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Bought a few BL orders for my next City project! Have a MOC-up built but not quite ready for show Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I received my SDCC Jean Grey figure. I like her a lot more in person. I especially love her Phoenix face, which I don't recall being mentioned anywhere previously, but maybe I just missed it. I also received my shirtless Darth Maul and my Bruce Wayne. All ordered from different sellers on different days and all came at the same time, I found that odd. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Picked up..... By the way it appears the game code is the printed tile for the police vehicle's rear number plate. Quote
purplepeopleeater Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 10656 My First Lego Princess, for parts. Quote
Mr_Malfoy Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 10937 Arkham Asylum Breakout. I couldn't wait any longer to buy it. I love it! Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Went to Brickvention (Australian Lego convention) and bought a Beetle figure. Was going to buy Dr Doom but he was $30! Also ordered Lasha's Bite Cycle on eBay. Quote
cortman Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Just bought an Elrond polybag minifigure for $14.99 plus $2.00 shipping on ebay. Cheapest sealed bag I could find on Bricklink (which I promptly bought two weeks ago) was $28, so I'll probably see if I can resell this one. Quote
DarthBrickus Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 at Toys R Us for 39.99 I really needed that Captain Rex. Quote
just2good Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Got the Spidey Cycle set (76004) today at Toys"R"Us, which came with a free Chima polybag (30253). Yesterday I got the Bytar pack (9556) at Target on clearance for $2.50 and the CMF Series 7 Bunny. Quote
cortman Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Just bought the Mines of Moria (9473) on eBay for $72. $8 off MSRP, not great, but better than nothing, and the 2012 LOTR sets are starting to climb in price... Need to grab Helm's Deep and the Orc Forge before too long. Quote
Crackerjack Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 4x http://brickset.com/detail/?set=30059-1 and 2x http://brickset.com/detail/?set=30170-1 I felt like a kid in a candy store seeing them at my local TRU. Quote
Ridge Montante Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Went to toys r us tonight and found an Isla de muerta. I was stoked as I missed the potc sets due to my dark ages. And got three series 9 minifigures. The knight, the judge and the mermaid. They were also giving away a free chima set: leonidas jungle dragster. For free I couldn't go wrong. Then went to target, got the creator log cabin and two series 8 minifigures. The shakespeare actor and the evil robot. All in all a good day in my book. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Last night I went to TRU only because they had the free Chima polybag with purchases over $20. I just wanted to see how the Chima figures were without buying a set (although a speedor may be tempting for my daughter). They are kind of neat, although I think Leonidas may be my least favorite lion, so good thing he was free I guess. Anyway, I bought the Arctic Batman set since it was just above the threshold for a free Chima figure and rummaged through the series 9 CMFs since they are the only place in town that has any. I picked up the Cyclops, Fortune Teller, Mermaid, Jekyll/Hyde figure, and Chicken Suit Guy. Those were mostly for my daughter, but I may end up rebuying them all for myself. Quote
Dervish Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Not me, but my GF bought me my first Architecture series lego. 21006 The White House. I love it (and her). Quote
jedi1984 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I Just find this one in a lonely toy shop here in Italy. Paid the actual retail price, minus a 10% discount because the seller was sooo happy to eliminate this huge unsellable thing. I am happy enough... :-) Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Well I felt like buying these today....... Now I have to wait for rest of the city range to pop into the stores. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Nice lightningtiger! I really want that museum set! I got the daily bugle set about a week ago and built it encremently throughout the week. I plan on taking of the DBC stuff and putting in my Arkham City MOC! Quote
legotrainfan Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I bought 10224 Town Hall... and I am going to get another copy of that small Chima set, namely Ewar's Acro fighter. I already got one when I ordered two copies of the magnificent Horizon Express a while ago. Actually I should be happy about getting a LEGO set for free, but I am not really into the Legends of Chima theme. Quote
JeagerEX Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I just bought CMF Series 9 Cyclops from my local TRU today. Finally I completed the whole Series 9. Quote
cortman Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Got me a MISB Helm's Deep set ($105 w/free shipping)- best deal I've found on it yet. $25 off MSRP makes me happy. :) Also a Roman Emperor CMF ($5), one of the few in series 9 that I want, the Judge, Knight, and possibly the Cyclops being the others. Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Got Bag End, and the Spidey set, so I could get Ewar's Acro Fighter. All three are all-around great sets! Quote
