Those prices look like clearance prices I've seen recently at a Wal-Mart near here. Since I already had all of the sets I wanted from that theme, I didn't bite. Although those are great prices indeed. If I had the spare change, I would rebuy them all for my daughter since she is really into monsters right now. But maybe I'll just give her mine.

Recently I bought some series 5 CMF since I found them at a store nearby. I figured I should finish the series since I had most anyway. And since 10 is coming out, probably won't see 5 again for a long time.

I picked up:

Snowboarder, Zookeeper, Cave woman, clown, fitness instructor, extra mobster, lumberjack. I'm still missing the fisherman. They had zero in their collection.

I got the Constitution Train Chase - my first Lego train! It's a really nice model, IMO. Should look good around a Winter Village setup, after modding the cars.

You are correct, Doctor. Only one of my WM's had them for that low of a price. Meijer has them all on sale too, although still a couple bucks more. The Kroger by me has the Werewolf for $11.00, regular price!

I can tell you're a lego dad like me. The only reason I got the MF sets is because my daughter likes them (especially the ghosts).

I happened to see it on their website. It was only for LotR I believe. Other themes had other discounts like free shipping on Star Wars over $50, though if you have a Red Card it's free anyway, plus 5% off.

I am going to see if they will honor it in store, as they have had nothing around here for sale recently.
