La Chupacabra Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) I bought on ebay - old Lego Cargo Crane (4452). Edited January 16, 2014 by La Chupacabra Quote
-SD- Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I went to Toys R Us today to get a present for my daughter's friend's birthday party. He's getting a couple of the Chima Legend Beasts: the crocodile and the wolf. I also got the Technic Container Truck and the Construction Team, along with the Friends Juice Bar and all three of S4 of the Animal baggies. That should give the kids something to do over the weekend. This evening my son and I built the Town Car Transporter and the Octan Racer. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 The Lego Movie collectible minifigure series Gail the Construction worker. She was the only CMF there, which was disappointing. But if you're a fan of the hobbit, you'd be pleased to see how many polybags they had (about 8 lined up on a shelf and another 5 or so in a bin, with several others scatetred about, and an extra 3 at the register). thrak76 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Picked up The Hobbit 79003 - An Unexpected Gathering and Creator 7346 - Seaside House. I couldn't wait very long before putting together The Hobbit set, and I'm very impressed with the build. It's a very cool looking set with some nice minifigs. Quote
Cammo Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I caught up with my 2 main themes I'm collecting. Tumbler Chase Black zero escape Black gate Uruk Hai army I still don't own any of the 2014 DC wave sets but the year is young. :) Quote
Lego Spy Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) Tomorrow, I finally get my hands on Unikitty! After being painstakingly confused from my first order of Super Cycle Chase, Cloud Cuckoo Palace, and Melting Room, a second, priority, order has been shipped and will get here tomorrow! (To put it simply, I live in southern New York. The box was sent to New Jersey, then to... Illinois!? I have absolutely no idea what happened there. ) Edited January 20, 2014 by Lego Spy Quote
Legogal Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Working on the ground floor of the Robbie House. May take a few months with all of the 1 by 1 pieces, but that is okay because I like the color scheme and it should be a beautiful build even though the base is unstable (most of FLW buildings had major structural problems, so that is not news) and the tile came with a lot of marks on it. I am a huge fan of FLW and 1 by 1 tiles, so this should be the right set for me. Next comes Sydney Opera House….oooh la la! Quote
AFOLguy1970 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Went to Target today and bought the Ice Cream Machine, Riddler Chase and three collectible minifigures (not the new ones. My two sons got a policeman and the Forest Maiden. I was quite lucky, because I got the French waiter. He is now part of the Parisian Restaurant. Quote
Ridge Montante Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Went to the LEGO store this weekend. I got the Back to the Future set. The new creator Emerald Express. A large pick a brick cup. Build three minifigures. The wedding topper and the valentines bear. ( both of those were my girlfriends idea ) Quote
kibosh Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I picked up the LEGO Movie Rescue Reinforcements yesterday. I got it mainly because my kids are super excited to see the movie, and with the $20 off at TRU, the price was as good as it is likely to get! I have to say, I really like this set, but I do wish it was a 2-in-1. All the pieces are there to make a nice fire truck, I am sure. GREAT looking minifigs, too. Quote
Milan Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Another Bricklink order...47th...I am addicted, long time ago! And I love it :) Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) You are not the only one 'Milan'.......I went a little city crazy today........ Edited January 23, 2014 by lightningtiger Quote
-SD- Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 My son has decided he'd like to build a City equivalent of each of his Technic models, if it exists. I can't complain as it's a pretty good idea to be fair.... So today in Tesco we got the 60059 Logging Truck, which he's just completed. Next up will be the 60056 Recovery Vehicle, I think the blue is a good contrast to the black and green of the two Technic versions. Quote
