Great buys! Is the Sea Cow worth it?

The Sea Cow is definitely worth it if you have the time and the space. The lady I purchased it from at the LEGO Store said it took her seven hours non stop to build (I finished Hobbit, ESB, and The LEGO Movie before I finished ). There are a ton of small pieces, but the final product is a sight to behold and definitely worth the big price tag. It's very hard to move around, though, since it's so back heavy. If you have the patience to add tons of little studs and plates, then I'd definitely get it.

I also purchased the Grand Emporium last week and added it to the Cinema and Town Hall. Probably going for the Pet Shop next.

Good times!

Jealous! I don't have the Excavator, Volvo or the Unimog.

Today was a day for small stuff:

42010, 42011, 42021, and 42027

(4 of the 5 $20 Technic sets)

Yet to arrive, but supposed to deliver today, Halloween Bat, the Friends and City Advent Calendar sets, and Pet Shop. 2 are for gifts, 2 are for me. :-)

I received my lego order from last week including the Parisian Restaurant (My first modular  ), a second seaside house (loved the first one so much that I intend to make it a modular) and the bike shop&cafe 3in1.

Picked up a Daily Mail in WHSmiths to get the Wyldstyle poly, and also received a voucher giving me £5 off a £15 spend on lego instore. So, I went down to the lego section and the 3849 Orient Bazaar set for £14.99 caught my eye. I was very excited to find it! However I needed another 1 pence to use the voucher. All the minifigures had gone, so another set caught my eye: a 9554 Zane ZX booster pack for £2.99 sitting alone on the shelf! So I went to the till, and they only charged 10p for the Zane set!

With the voucher this came to £10.09, plus the paper which was 90p. Very happy, thanks WHSmiths!
