Yay! My Metroliner arrived! When built, it looks awesome next to my favourite set, Cafe Corner. :-) I think Metroliner is now my second favourite set ever.

My Metroliner and an observation railcar arrived earlier in the week. I agree its a fantastic set.

Just one question though, does the front wheels on your locomotive turn in a somewhat restricted manner because of the wire connecting to the lights? - it seemes stiffer than on other engines I have.

Yeah, but I have the same problem on my copy of 4512 Cargo Train. Although the wire with the Metroliner is longer (Some would even say too long!) and so it's not so bad. I haven't had any derailments or anything from it.

Where did you get the club car from, and how much did you pay for it? I've been looking for it everywhere and I'm not willing to pay over $100-150.

xwingyoda - Damn you! I really want that gas station. Monday?! :'-(

I bought an additional red-and-blue wagon for my 7715 4,5 volt train off my favourite Dutch Marketplace for 15 euros.

This 4,5v train runs nicely on the 9 volt track by the way powered by the motor and supplied with a batterytender.

Excellent choice of sets! The ambulance is personally one of my favourites! And it goes really well with Cafe Corner. :-)

yes, im surprised by how good of a little set it is !!! its so few pieces, yet every one seems perfect in its place. its hard to believe this was part of the same line of 2006 that included 7892 (hospital) and 7902 (ambulance car) which are far worse designed sets *wacko* i mean, a raised baseplate for a hospital ???
