Would you recommend Crook's Island? I'm tempted by it, but it doesn't seem like a "bang for your buck" set.

Sorry I'm waaaay late to this, but yeah, I would recommend it. I bought it because I didn't have a base of operations for my 25+ Crooks, but it has a surprising amount of detail, as well as a detachable section and two vehicles.

Got the blue Nightwing from eBay the other day shipped over from America.. that's about it until the new sets drop in June or whenever it is. It's kinda been nice being up to date.

I'll never learn. It's 6399 - Airport Shuttle monorail with box. In incomplete as is condition (again . . . .I'll never learn, I do own most of a complete 6399 set already, but do desire another to double-up and complete mine.

If you look at the link. It would appear to have each and every single unique component included that are extremely annoying to come by. Both 6 X 6 X 9 white arches, Both 4 X 3 X 6 yellow arches, battery box, baseplates, and the illusive mono-motor cover, also the battery box. I have no idea what is all in there. There appears to be many of the parts for the 6396 airport as well in this auction. Looks like the flight control tower and much of the airport itself along with the plane tail.

The prices on these things have gone absolutely insane lately. I just lost a bid on a set no where near as complete with no battery box or box for nearly $200.

In the center of pic #2, absolutely confused as to what the dark trans blue piece(s) are?? Immediately above the red/white stairwell.

Today I bought a box of random Lego off OfferUp.

When I got it home, it was mostly MegaBloks.

After I sorted through it and picked out all of the actual Lego, it turned out to contain a 99% complete set of 76007: Iron Man - Malibu Mansion Attack, sans minifigs.

I probably overpaid for the lot but at least I got to do some Lego archaeology and build something. Not bad for the worst luck I've had buying random lots.

And I have some MegaBloks to give to Goodwill.

Is this just about Lego or anything else? Because today via Amazon I ordered a copy of the compilation books of Superior Iron Man (volume 1) and the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (volume 1).

And I also bought a bottle of Imodium.

Oh man, the existence of the Marvel license gives me the faintest hope that some day there will be a Squirrel Girl set (or even just a minifigure) but I have a feeling that is going to remain a faint hope...
