Fixing a problem

I bought myself the TIE Striker the other day for Christmas, and today I bought the Ultra Agents AntiMAtter's Portal Hideout on discount, also for Christmas.

1- Set 1877 - Like New Condition. 

2- Set 6257 - Like New Condition. 

3- Set 6254 - New Sealed.

I bought two Minrcraft sets: 21122 - Nether Fortress (67 €) and 21125 - Treehouse (72 €). Both sets were on sale and I look forward to building both, love the look of the treehouse and all the dark red in the fortress.

aaand all 20 of the LBM CMF's. Initially picked up 20 bags without checking and managed 15/20! Couldn't leave it with just 5 left so sent my other half back in to get the remaining 5 (there was a 20 per customer limit). Luckily the store had quietened down by then so an employee was there helping out and feeling the bags to confirm who was who.

I honestly have no idea why it was that cheap.  I walked all the way to the self checkout line thinking it was too good to be true.  When I got there, I scanned the clearance sticker on the front (I've had experiences in the past--at several Walmart stores--where scanning the clearance sticker causes the item to ring up at the clearance price while scanning the bar code on the box causes it to ring up at full price; it's happened so often that I got into the habit of going to the self checkout line so I don't have to watch the cashier like a hawk to make sure he / she scans the right bar code) and--much to my chagrin--it rang up as "ITEM NOT FOUND".  The clerk at the checkout line tried it and got the same result.  She called a manager, who tried it and got the exact same result.  I was about to give up (thinking it was, indeed, too good to be true) when the clerk suggested scanning the bar code on the box.  I did and it rang up for $17.  

By the way, I recently purchased a Classic Lego Large Creative Box (10697) on after-Christmas clearance for $19.  I didn't have any problems at the checkout line this time, thankfully.

If you use one of the many Target Inventory checkers around (BrickPicker.com has one), you should be able to find most (if not all) Ultimate Nexo sets for $4.98 on clearance. I've managed to pick up Axl, Flama and Beast Master that way. I found Clay for $4 at HomeGoods (but TJMaxx or Marshalls might have them too as they are all the same company), and used some KMart magic to get Robin for $2.55 :)

Still waiting for Aaron (Hard to Find in Targets around me), Magmar, Macy and Lance to drop to 50%+ off.....

This is truly insane, found 76052 - Batcave and the Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS at 50 % sale at my local toystore. Bought one of each. I almost bought the Kwik-e-mart as well but it was to much for my wallet to handle but anyhow, 50 % off! Amazing!!

I got the Fairy Batman on the WB lot today. They're selling some of the new sets for the movie there. And there are LEGO Batman posters everywhere. It's great.
