I had enough VIP points accrue after May the 4th to get a $50 USD voucher for the Bad Batch shuttle pre-order. I’m very happy getting those figs alone for $50, the money off gives me cash to buy bricks for potential shuttle mods. Very grateful to be able to do this pricey hobby.

Been doing some orders from Mercari recently. Got a couple of figure lots, one Guardians of the Galaxy and the other Justice League. With all the excitement over the new Marvel wave, I've been going back and picking up some old infinity war sets I missed, namely the hulk buster and sanctum sanctorum. Also got the bridge battle from FFH and the hall of armor for a ridiculously good deal.

I picked up some local Facebook Marketplace deals, a bunch of newer sets used but nearly all complete for $10, and two huge laundry tote-tubs full of all kinds of Star Wars and Jurassic Park sets with some Lord of the Rings and other goodies mixed in for $50.  Otherwise, I ordered more Looney Tunes minifigures with my BnP order and scooped up some clearance plush minifigures of Banana Guy and Lloyd at Target.

Finally found 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile.

Boy, I don’t know what happened at this Wal Mart though. Sets have been under lock & key for quite a few months now, but this was my first time buying since...and the set got escorted to the check out by an employee.*huh*

This was actually three days ago but I’ll share here anyway. I’m visiting New York right now and without checking beforehand, I tried going to two different Lego locations that were closed. (You’d have thought that I would have learned my lesson the first time.) I did end up finding a third location that was open and very well-stocked I might add.

While there, I purchased:

-853758 Jay’s Kendo Training Pod (I mostly just picked this up because Jay is my favorite ninja and I was amazed that this Lego Store still had this set three years later.)

-A damaged and discounted 40516 Everyone is Awesome.

-71747 The Keepers’ Village

-71748 Catamaran Sea Battle

-10292 The Friends Apartments

-30343 McLaren Elva polybag promotion (technically my first Speed Champions set?)

-40490 Ninjago Legacy 10th Anniversary Brickheadz promo

Five more copies of Let’s Play Quidditch. I now have a full team. Really regretting not getting another Quidditch Match before it retired.

What did you end up paying for that?

Ended out around $130ish if remember correctly. Not a bad deal for all the figures and a used set in good condition, although a few small prices were missing.

That is decent.  It pains me that I, not once but twice, missed out on complete sets for under $65.

=========================================================================

I had stopped by a Wal-Mart , so had to make a pass through the Lego aisle, they recently got several of the Speed Champions sets in so I picked up a 76900 Koenigsegg Jesko.

I found a 31111 Cyber Drone on clearance at Walmart for $7.48+tax (last one from the looks of it). And I also got two more Looney Toons figures on clearance at Walmart for $3.73+tax each (the two I got are Porky Pig & Speedy Gonzales).

40500 HP Accessory Pack

76395 Hogwarts: Flying Lesson

60300 Wildlife Rescue ATV

75310 Duel on Mandalore

75312 Slave I

75316 Mandalorian Starfighter

I’ve been going to Jan 1st release for about a decade now(as well as other bug release days here & there). This one was by far the craziest. The line was insanely long...even after we left an hour later.

Well.....crap. I did something I don’t do & kinda already regret doing it. I paid $36 for Zuckuss. I don’t like paying those kinds of prices for minifigs because all it does is encourage resellers. He’s the only bounty hunter I don’t have & I’m still all hyped up over all the new SW sets I bought. So it’s not my fault.  I also missed out on getting Velma when she was going for $20...that has always irked me & felt this would be the same.
