I may be wrong but I think it's a saddle bag from the Playmobil western. But I'm not any more certain than that, seeing as I've never had any playmobil.

Yes, you're right, I did some quick research on Playmobil (man.. there are a LOT of Playmobil western sets!) and came up with this.

Just to make it clear: I did not buy this set, it is just to showcase that weird piece... ;-)

I don't have anything against Playmobile. I actually walked through one of their stores one day (I've got one 20 minutes away) and thought they had some very cool stuff. I absolutely refuse to buy a single figure though, or I'm doomed, I know it ... I can't handle more manias.

That would be good news! I just received notification that my Brickmaster renewal was sent, let's hope I get that! I'll report back either to praise LEGO for that one or slam them for sending me another junky set X-D

Today I bought the Jedi fighter with hyperdrive ring (finally! ;-) )

EDIT: Also got the small mosaic set for only $5!!! Go to your local Wal-Mart, they've got tons of great lego buys (or at my local Wal-Mart, anyways!)

Planning to get at least 7992, and possibly something else, I went to TRU today, and another shop nearby which has a 20% discount on LEGO.

I did not find the 7992 in any of the shops though, so I instead went home with just a 7991. :-/ And a couple of days ago I orderered 200 3873s, so now I really have to finish my MBT design ;-)

For non-LEGO shopping I've recently bought a new laptop, and Making Money by Terry Pratchett (newest Discworld book). This has really been an expensive week ;-)

I'm not even putting it together, I don't have the space to display it. I dug through the box, ooohing and aaahing over all the pretty parts and the 300+ page instructions. They give us 2 books for everything now, but shoved all 308 pages (as I recall) in one for this, go figure. Then I closed up that box, reboxed it and reboxed that box until everythere was back where it came from. One day ...

As for limited, they'll just take the logo off and drop the certificate eventually. I'd like to see what the highest known first edition # is. Mine doesn't help, I'm under 1000. I suspect Europe has some lower #'s since they got first crack at it by a few hours, unless they're just thoroughly random. I've seen a # up to almost 2500 though, making it a healthy sized edition and a nice profit for LEGO.

so what is your number anyway? wanna trade? ;-) low 1,000 is kinda neat. unless your is low 100. *sing* i would be so jealous!

i haven't gotten mine yet. damnit. i hope the post office didn't mess it up and lost it. hoping for a super low number as well. :-P otherwise i would do a review if i got mine.

gotten the kings castle (7094) from the tru sale. woopee. funny thing was i gotten a duplicate polybag containing the mf heads, shields and the silver visor. i was missing another polybag but have filed a complaint with customer service for the missing parts. it's the first time for me to see such a poor mistake. usually it's only 1 or 2 missing parts at most.

i suggest that you at least check all the parts in your ucs mf against the part list. imagine the horror when you open it in the future only to find this sort of mistake!!! (don't wanna be SOL, you know ;-) )

It's one of those parts that has me stumped. It's sort of like 2 2x2 plates, attached by a thin plastic stem, but they aren't plates, as the bottoms are made like baseplates (can't be stuck on top of anything). The studs have the older style dog-bone LEGO logo and the white plastic is much more of a translucent nature than usual, sort of like pearl white now.

I can't even figure out a use for this part, except perhaps to attach two vehicles together from underneath, much like you would a train and it's cars, but I looked up trains from back then and they don't seem to use this (plus it isn't flexible enough to allow turning).

It's a complete mystery to me. Ideas?
