I just made a decently large Bricklink order and I got two bags of free Lego! One including a large green baseplate, an old water baseplate, a green, blue and yellow Pirates baseplate and a boatload of old pieces!

Today, I bought my first Skeleton Battle Pack. :cry_happy:

I also "created" 2 minifigs at a LEGO store, and bought them...

Only to get some parts, I didn´t had before.

where did you get those BP's may I ask?

Well anyway Today I was going to get the cargo plane but they didn't have it so then I was going to get the Jungle dual but the shop didn't have that either so I remembered looking at radiak in one of the free brochure's when I was on the toilet (does anyone else do that? ) and I though wow thats pretty cool and thats comming from me who dosnt really like the theme much so I got it and wow it is great (see bionicle 2008 thread to see how much i like it) Might even do a reveiw on it!

I found them at the (official) LEGO-store in Oberhausen.

They had about 10 of each hanging in the castle-corner.

Man I wish New Zealand had lots of Lego sales. We very rarely see it on sale at all!

I went into Toyworld yesterday and lo-and-behold the new Indy sets are finally in! Yay! I got the Temple Escape set instead though, as I needed to complete the fist wave before getting the new stuff. Now I just need to find myself $340 or more to get the other sets. :sweet::look:

Got Exo-force River Dragon yesterday. Very nice small mech - even better than last years and a huge step up from the small mechs of 2006. Decent parts pack too!

Not exactly bought, but after Legoworld Oslo was finished we were allowed to fill (with "fill" being "to it overflows") one large PaB-bag each from all the building competition tables in the hall for free  Lots of old parts, special colours, tons of minifig parts, etc. Picked up quite a few goblin heads from the Gringott's set, horses (even a few with Indian decorations from the Western theme), bicycles, and what not. Really nice way of saying "thank you" from LEGO I think :classic:

I really hope some pictures from the picking find their way online, one of the common comments was "What would the children have said if they could see us now?"

What would they have said if they saw us pillage their creations for parts? That's the very first thing I did when I got my bag.

And I don't recall anyone taking pictures. With free PaB, limited amount of rare/special parts and a time-limit, who would be mad enough to take pictures? Pity, would have been fun seeing pictures of ourselves grabbing all the free stuff like the vultures we were.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot: I also bought a 5522 Golden Anniversary Set - which is yet to go on regular sale. It contains just regular bricks, but one of these is a tan, gold-plated 2x4. I also bought a gold-plated 2x4 key-ring.

(Indy) Jungle Cutter! (Indy LEGO 20% off at TRU today! )

Oh, yes. I was there, too. Picked up the Cutter and the River Chase. I was disappointed that the Temple wasn't on sale, though. I was planning on getting that.

I went into Birchalls today to get a second Dwarf Mine, when there I see the new Indy sets! :oh3:

I bought Jungle Duel (wonderful!), River Chase (fantastic!) and Jungle Cutter (wonderfully fantastic!)!

I just built them, great sets with incredibly cool pieces. I love the Jungle Cutter in particular. Any other aussies bought theses yet? How about you Sinner?

I'll get the large temple later when it drops its price significantly, all sets that size do.

Batbrick Away!

I decided today that I can't wait for the MTT to go on sale to get some droids and that I REALLY need some SBDs, so I got myself a droids BP. I'm quite happy with it, it's better than I thought (although I still miss the new weapons & droid arms in it :hmpf_bad: ). And to make up for this gain of droids, I also got my third clones BP (I already had droids from the hailfire set and old Ep I sets, so my clones & droids are balanced now). I just love those speeder bikes somehow, don't you? However, of course I had to get a Jungle Duel as well! I haven't build it yet and probably wont - I just bought it for the figs, the weapons, and the food. Mutt's hair is great, and I am planning something special with it... :look:

I recieved yesterday a load of old space and submarine sets;

6195 Neptune Discovery Lab

6125 Sea Sprint 9

6110 Solo Sub

6889 Recon Robot

6835 Saucer Scout

6135 Spy Shark

1737 Scorpion Detector

6458 Satellite with Astronaut

6852 Sonar Security

8208 Custom Cruiser

6679 Dark Shark

6463 Lunar Rover

6115 Shark Scout

6425 TV Chopper

6516 Moon Walker

This load fills a huge hole in my collection as I never bought any of the 90s sets. Most of them were 100% complete with instructions, including to my surprise Neptune Discovery Lab

Yes. Yesterday I bought 7627 Jungle Duel and 8117 Storm Lasher. I wanted the ants! I'll wait for some sale for the other Indy sets; I think they are overpriced...
