Hate to do this, but 'I told you guys it was Ginny'. I can't wait for the reviews, or more importantly the sets themselves.

The full Harry Potter product site is up. There isn't really any new information, but it means the sets are getting closer to release! :cry_happy:

I'm looking forward to your reviews!:thumbup:

Don't! My camera is poor quality and I'm a reviewing n00b, so to speak!

And the new product site is fantastic!

Just take your time with the pictures and try to get the most out of your camera, that's what I did a couple of years ago (although it didn't last long  ). I'll bet we'll still discover some new things because of your reviews. I knew I wasn't going to be the first to review them, sets always come later here. But I'll do it anyway I think.

The products site looks nice indeed, although I'm not a big fan of the 3D images. I really like the commercial with the model building scenery around the castle!

The problem with the camera is the lens, it won't let me focus or zoom out. Very strange stuff!

I'm really exciting for them to get here, even though they are the two least exciting sets (Dobby & Quidditch). I feel like a little kid again, Lego Harry Potter was such a huge part of my childhood.

As of right now they are available for pre-order from Shop@Home, estimated ship date September 20 for most (except the train and castle, but they are still available for pre-order).

I have to day, the minifigs look a lot better. Yay for no more dark green Voldy! Maybe they listened to us after Toy Fair...

*squees after seeing the new product site, is very excited to make a huge Lego Harry Potter display* :cry_happy:

Aaw! I love the Harry Potter lego website! it is so very pretty (especially Ron on his broomstick)

Just put in my pre order! $370 dollars later(got all six). For this month the US has free shipping, too!

Get you! Big spender! Or something like that...

I'd order them all as well, but I want to spread out buying them, I always think there is something exciting getting a new Lego set.

I don't want to get the sets all at once, to much to handle at one time :) I want to get them steadily and enough each one.

LOVE the site although a character bio would have been nice

I almost did that too. I was going to pre order them for 330 euro instead of 390 euro for them all. But then I said 'no' to myself. I'll just buy the Burrow when it's out and I'll hope I get the two smaller ones as presents. Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Express and the beautiful Hogwarts, sadly and probably, won't be in my collection unless someone in my family wants to make me extremely lucky around christmas and in January my birthday or I win unexpected lots of money. How beautiful they are, I've decided to put my money in my own wizarding world instead of the too expensive official one. For now, that is.

And I also agree on the joy of getting one LEGO set at the time. I almost never buy different sets at once, if I do it I put a lot of time between them when I build the sets. I'll do the same with the LEGO Harry Potter sets. The anticipation makes is even more fun when you finally get them in your hands.

Hey, i noticed that the Hogwarts Castle comes with a full cooked bird yay!

What do you guys and gals think about the Suit of Armor that turns and is just a hidden book in the Hogwarts set?

I think it is a bit of a waste. They should have had a Fat Lady portrait, or when turned it says the Chamber of Secrets has been opened, or something.

I just got my lego catalogue. Of course featuring the Harry Potter sets on the first pages. I find it odd that it lists so may characters by their first names when they are most well known by their last names. Such as Minerva McGonagall, Fenrir Greyback, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Molly and Arthur Weasaly. :sceptic: I also notice that in the description for the quidditch set, it describes the silver and blue tower as Huffelpuff!!! It's clearly Ravenclaw!. And madam Hooch's eyes look scary.

Plus, Bellatrix's sad/scared face sucks  . They don't even try to replicate the pout and other expressions that Helena Bonham Carter brings so wonderfully to the character. But the front of her head it pretty sweet.

And Voldem--*Shut up by wizards* He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is, indeed, now in black. I actually liked the green tunic that he actually does wear in the seventh and eighth movies. No sign of a double sided Luna Lovegood face, either. :hmpf_bad:

There's one thing that Nick Wolfe left out about the catalog: it says when you pre-order all six sets, you'll get instructions for an alternate model of the Burrow! There aren't any pictures of that model, unfortunately, so it would be great if someone who did preorder all the sets would show us what the model looks like once their package arrives. :sweet:

Oh, my, I didn't see that. Thanks for pointing that out, now I really have to get all six.

Printed or in PDF format? Did it specify?

Is this automatically sent or is it something you have to tick during checkout?

There isn't any fine print that tells you anything more about it. Here's a direct quote right off the catalog:

Pre-Order the ALL-NEW LEGO Harry Potterâ„¢ sets!

Pre Order Starts 9/1, Available to Ship on 10/1!

Receive alternative building instructions for 4840 The Burrow (featured on page 4) when you order all 6 LEGO Harry Potter sets!

Thanks for the info ILikePI! What a great incentive to get people to fork out their hard earned $$$ all at once!

Yeah, saw that too...I ordered all six at once over the phone. I was never told of this alternate model... I was however, cut off just before getting my confirmation number. But the operator had my order all ready and totalled, so he should of mentioned it, you'd think? Oh well. I guess we'll see when it gets here. I'm sure I can always find it on brickset or somewhere.

The sets are now out of stock on Tesco! Glad I managed to order a couple before they took them down!

I didn't.

They were out of stock when I checked yesterday evening. Hopefully they'll have more by the start of next week.

I read on Brickset that Lego told Tesco to take them down.

I just got a text from tesco saying they'll be here in the next two hours!
