Its not likely but spinners end would be sick!!!

Snape, bellatrix lestrange, wormtail and narcissa malfoy!

It's such a small scene in the movie, albeit important. But what play features would there be?

Posted

Diagon Alley could also feature a shop or two from Knockturn Alley.

If it is Diagon Alley or Hogsmead, I really hope they release characters in muggle clothes like Hermione!

Ooooh! A huge Harry Potter set on the way! Yay!:thumbup:

I'm hoping it's Diagon Alley. That way we might get Ollivanders and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes! I really NEED official Fred and George minifigs, lol. But Hogsmeade would be great too! Think Medival Market Village crossed with that Christmas Toy Shop set, plus HP minifigs! :cry_happy:

I doubt it would be Spinners End. There aren't many play features and apart from Peter Pettigrew and Narcissa, those minifigs will be availible in other sets.

I hope It's Hogsmeade That will look amazing with the snow and detail (hopefully). Diagon Alley would be good too, since Lego has done a few Diagon alley sets which are just shops on their own. Can't Wait!!!

Huh... now that you mention it, what would be REALLY cool is a 12 Grimmauld Place done in the detail of the modular style... it could crossover with city fans, like myself. I disagree about not having a lot to do with it... you could have a nasty painting in the hallway of Sirius' Mom, a kitchen, some bedrooms, the family tree room, and a bunch of minifigures to go with it... INCLUDING KREACHER, which would be AWESOME! You could even have a room with Mrs. Weasily facing the bogart...

Although... sadly, I don't think that'll be it.

Siriusly, i don't really think that there would be all that many features that you could include. It is a building that is very drab, all in greyscale, and the fact that there could be a kitchen, bedrooms, and a family tree really isn't all that impressive. The drab look of the set would also probably mean that the younger audiences wouldn't be interested. While the minfigs could be interesting, I would be shocked if they made this a set. However, a modular Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley has a lot more potential, color, and variety.

Somebody should start a poll about what the upcoming set will be. It would be interesting to see what the most popular choices are.

Eagerly awaiting a MoM, Diagon Alley, AND a Hogsmeade  .

No polls! Since nobody is supposed to know about it yet, I don't want any publicity outside this thread. Thanks!

Awww... (weeps bitterly)

Not even one for guessing instead of having us keep voicing our opinions here?

Oh well...

Though i do think that we already have an inkling that there will be a set  .

Message received. (it all seems very hush hush  )

Any idea how long we have to keep silent? Best, K.

I don't know if any of you have seen this yet, but the September Lego store calendar says that you can preorder the Harry Potter sets on September 1st and that you can find them at the Lego store October 1st. There is also a semi-close pic of Voldemort.

Very exciting! I'm getting the figure countdown will finish on 1st September then, to tie in with the pre-order of them on shop @ home. It's going to be nice to see the UK prices for sure.

Someone should update the first post with the pics from the microsite or make a locked 2010 news topic like in the sw forum!

What fig do we all want to be unveiled in 3 days?.?.?

The suspense is killing me!

Interesting that Draco is on the cover, but his dad is a student at Hogwarts with Harry and the rest  .

So we will hopefully get the sets released in TRU by early/mid september.

Any speculation on what TLG would include if they create a second wave of sets?

If they did a Second wave of Sets, I would like one with More Death Eaters!
