Rick, thank you for the link. The Burrow sounds exciting. As I have stated before, I hope this will lead to the creation of a Number 13 Grimmauld Place in the future. Does anyone know if Eurobricks has a representative covering the London Toy Fair? I know that FBTB usually covers the NY Toy Fair because they are based in the states.

Some more info from Brickset:

Dobby's release: 30-odd pieces and three figs including a new Dobby

Quidditch lesson: 5 or 6 figs, 2 per team plus a teacher and/or ref., plus hoops and stands

Hagrid's Hut wasn't on display

The Burrows: 3 storey house, 'twisted' and asymmetrical like in the films. 5 or 6 figs: most of the Weasleys and Harry probably.

Hogwart's Express: Red loco and tender, and one short coach, perhaps only 16 studs long and I think Mr Weasley's car (the light blue one) came with this or possibly with the castle

Hogwart's Castle: a new design, 7-8 figs, new dementors, folding-open design. Another visitor remarked that it looked smaller than previous ones but it looked about the same as the others to me.

The first three sound very good IMO, especially if Cagri's info on their prices is correct! Hogwarts sounds good, but if it's really around the same size as the previous ones, $130 is a bit much. :sceptic:

I'm still super-excited for these though, and can't wait to see NYTF pics! :cry_happy:

I agree! If Quidditch Lesson includes 5-6 minifigs, that'll be phenomenal (since it's rumored that the set will be $11 USD)! :oh3:

Dobby's Release sounds interesting, especially since Huw says that we'll be getting a flesh version of Dobby! :sweet:

Also, The Burrow sounds very good! I always like asymmetrical things, and this probably won't disappoint! Also, we might finally get some of the other Weasleys! :oh3:

Can't wait for the Toy Fair!

EDIT: Oops, I messed up one of my sentences.

Who ever said it would be $11?

The other what? Now you're just talking gibberish! I think someone should go to bed.

Very cool news. I'm wondering what the Fleshy Dobby will look like now, I quite liked the old one. It's a very strange pick to release, like the other 5 sets aren't tied to any certain book or film, bar this one. I reckon they just wanted to get a new Dobby fig out there! It's not hard to guess that this set will come with Mr Malfoy, Harry and Dobby.

I'm not too sure about the castle. The guy said it is smaller and folds out, I hope it looks good and like a castle, unlike the 3rd Castle (from OotP), which I still think is the worst of the 3. Still, some cool figs would be welcome, I reckon Harry, Ron, Hermione, Snape, Dumbledore, Hagrid, Malfoy, Luna (Please lego?) and Prof. McGonagal. Then the Dementors, like the link said.

As for Minifigs, the Burrow has got to be Harry, Ron, Ginny (with the new headpiece ), Molly and Athrur, surely? Maybe we might get Fred OR George, which would be an awesome addition.

The Quiddich set sounds pretty cool as well. I reckon we are going to get a fleshy Maddom Hooch , 2 figs from Gif, and 2 from Slyth, which would be great, considering, if the price predicted is correct.

I wonder why they didn't show Hargrids Hut. They must have a reason. Anyway, I wouldn't be shocked to see Hagrid and 1 more figure in this set. Maybe Harry, but I hope they don't include Harry as he looks like he is going to be in every set this year! I really hope we get a Fang figure!

Finally, the train. I didn't bother buying the 2nd train as it looked to similar to the first one. I hope they change that this time round. I'm so happy they included a tender as well. Fig wise, Harry, Ron & Hermione again? Did I dream this, but did I see someone saying you get the flying car with this set as well? If it is true, very cool indeed.

Looks like I'm going to have to get saving, it's going to be a costy year!

Aha, looks like you were right, SuperChris! They have appeared on the London Toy Fair.

That's useful information, thanks. I'm especially interested in the figures, so I'll take a bit about them. I'm looking forward to the new designs, but I really really hope they match perfectly with the old designs. If the new Dobby fits with the old one, only some small differences, then we have Dobby and Kreacher! I wasn't sure about a flesh Dobby at first, I hope he's tan. But if he's fleshie, then it's just a colour difference in the race of elfs, just like in real life. I'm wondering how they changed the Dementors, there wasn't much to change about them, I thought they were perfect.

I hope the Quidditch set has four figures from the four Hogwarts houses. My favorite set at the moment would be the Burrow, only because I'm hoping to see Arthur, Molly and Ginny. And the twins. :classic:

If the train isn't much different from the last version then that would probably be the only one I would not buy. But it would be handy, then I could build my own one from the pieces of the first and second one. A little Hogsmeade station building, like the one with the motorized version, would be great again.

Aargh, all this speculation makes me too excited.

One would assume that Hagrid's Hut was not shown because it's going to be a store exclusive limited item, the same way that the limited sets for Star Wars aren't shown at Toy Fairs.

I would why TLC would do that? Seems a odd set to only sell as an exclusive.

The brickset guy said in his news that he couldn't remind if Mr Weasley's car will be in the Howarts castle or the train - but ther WILL be the nice car if we trust him.

Quidditch lesson: 5 or 6 figs, 2 per team plus a teacher and/or ref., plus hoops and stands

YAY!

The Quiddich set sounds pretty good for minifigure-collectors!

I think we get Madam Hooch and perhaps a Dementor!

Apropos Dementors!

The guy also has written about some !NEW! Dementors - may a special headpiece?! New torso?

The Burrows seems to be the best set of the 1. wave - much, much figures and a impressive design ( if we accord credibility to the author) -> MUST HAVE!

I don't have one of the older trains, so the Hogwarts-Express is already ordered (in my mind  )

The Ford shall be a great addition to this set, eh?

But even if the car is included in Hogwarts - could we get a "Whomping Willow"?!

Great news...

OMG! I can't wait to see some nice pics!! there shall be some at flickr or somewhere...!!

Anyway, I'm not interested at all in Hogwarts' Express, I bet it's the same thing since the first version, and now with the blue car...nah, it was included in Harry's release set with Uncle Vernon minifig included...

I wasn't interested at all in the dobby's and quidditch's sets, however, they sound really promising ones, especially minifigs and pieces, hope to see the Horcrux included in Dobby's one and quidditch team members (crossing fingers against a harry or draco minifig)

Not judging Hogwarts Castle set until I see some nice pics...if its design concept is like the las two versions, it's very well welcome, also a Luna and a Mc Gonagall minifig would be awesome.

The Burrow is the one that excites me the most!! 5 to 6 minifigs?!! that's awesome, I'd love to see Bellatrix or a Death Eater minifig...! :cry_happy:

Let's hunt some pics from UK toy fair!

I also think its possible that the car will be included with the Burrow...

Considering they don't want to be movie specific, putting the car in the Hogwarts Express would make it a Chamber of Secrets set. However, putting it with the Burrow would make sense, as it is where it technically belongs...

Ginny with new hair sounds promising, I just hope that they have Molly and Arthur as well. I really don't mind if the twins aren't included, but they would be nice. I'm guessing Harry, Ron, Ginny, Molly and Arthur for the figure lineup (However, I wouldn't mind no Harry and strictly Weasly's! I'm guessing we will see a few new hairpieces in dark orange!) .

The Burrow sounds the most promising actually, and according to the news it said "most of the Weasleys", so I believe that it would include Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, and PERHAPS Molly and Arthur. Bill, Charlie and Percy aren't really 'central' characters of the Weasley family, so I doubt we'll see them in minifg. I always wanted a Ginny fig (in flesh), and now LEGO is giving me one (with a new headpiece too!). Hurray for LEGO!

One thing I would hope for is the inclusion of more villains; Death Eaters like Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Fenrir Greyback should be included. I also hope they would make a new version of Voldemort; I didn't like the first one very much.

Another thing I hope for (to be included in the castle set) are the professors. We had McGonagall, but I like my figs in flesh; we also had Snape and Trelawney; but I really wish to see the other 2 Heads of House. And PLEASE PLEASE have a Luna fig.

Maybe not all of that is wishful thinking... absolutely can't wait to see the sets; but the official pictures won't be released until at least Feb 14 when the Toy Fair starts... sigh...

Check cagri's post for price estimations.

Oops.

I meant to say that we might finally get the other Weasleys.

I don't know about you, but I still clearly read $19.99 there.

I see. Well, obviously there will be other Weasleys considering it's their house. The question is which ones.

Anyone expect a dark orange Elsa hair piece in the Burrows?

Nope. The guy on brickset said there was a new hairpiece for Ginny, and the Elsa hair would not work for Molly, so that's a no to the Elsa hairpiece. Unless the guy was mistaken.

Searching for the new Harry Potter sets I came across this picture featuring the new Hogwarts challenge play set, the poster also features Harry and Malfoy at the sides in a cartoon caption, but both have a new look and a new hairstyle could these be the possible figure for Harry and Malfoy?

Boy LEGO is really attacking the market with the games.

Although we haven't seen actual pictures of the sets, I must say the picture of the board game makes up for it. Looks like an awesome parts pack, yellow frogs (and normally blue and red ones, but I can't spot them)! Hogwarts tile! And lots of brown. :classic: Hopefully there are some sneaky and blurry pictures of the sets, like the Star Wars ones, to add some more tension to our guessing work. :hmpf:

I don't think there are any frogs besides the yellow and green ones. Instead, there seem to be blue and red spiders, which are kinda neat (and probably beat using those transparent ones all over the place).
