Skafte Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Well, well, an official LEGO Etzel Keychain! Congrats! Quote
UKver2.0 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 There's one thing that Nick Wolfe left out about the catalog: it says when you pre-order all six sets, you'll get instructions for an alternate model of the Burrow! There aren't any pictures of that model, unfortunately, so it would be great if someone who did preorder all the sets would show us what the model looks like once their package arrives. I ordered all six sets, but did not receive instructions for the alternate model. Did anyone else get theirs? Quote
Etzel Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Well, well, an official LEGO Etzel Keychain! Congrats! Now, that's something! I guess my impact on the LEGO world has been greater that I expected Quote

10or Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Contact LEGO and tell them that it said you were supposed to receive alternative building instructions for the Burrow Quote
Vindicare Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 (edited) Now that I've gotten and built all my sets, I wonder some things: Ginny has different color wands...The Burrow she has the tan one. In Hogwarts Express she has a brown one. Why does Molly Weasley & McGonagall not come with wands. Why don't we get a "street" clothed Hermoine. A lot of little things about the castle irk me. While I understand it's a space issue, but the interior design is a bit strange. Examples, why only two chairs and no staff table, when there is 5 teachers. The geography of the castle is all wrong. Two seats in the Gryffindor common room when there's four students in that house. No corridors or classrooms either. Again, I'm not complaining about the design/look of the castle. I realize it's not possible to make it as it is described to be, and that's fine. I very much like all the sets in this line. Hopefully, like Lego did in the past, they'll make additions to the castle. Edited September 29, 2010 by Legocrazy81 Quote

Oky Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Thanks for the info! I hope someone will be so kind to make that PDF available to everyone once it's sent out. I also hope that TLC wont be so hard on those who do like they were about the prelim pics. Quote
Vindicare Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Does anyone have the train? How is it? Very on the fence about it It's alright. It's a bit lacking. Not quite Hogwarts Express, more a normal red train. For one thing, there's no doors on the passenger train car...the inside compartment should've been a little different in my opinion. There should've been benches instead of chairs, or at least two chairs side by side to resemble benches. Overall, I like it, just leaves me wanting a bit I suppose. Quote
