Skalldyr Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) Haha, I have already seen it and it will definitely be the best Lego HP set ever made.... It is so cool to see all the people going crazy on that set-release. Edited October 1, 2010 by Skalldyr Quote
Skafte Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 What do you mean with "here soon, or on the internet NOW"? where on the internet, NOW? I mean here on Eurobricks in less than a day or on other Internet sites right now. For example the website mentioned on the previous page. Quote
metalandi Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Well, i guess the posts where it is mentioned, are the ones that have been hidden, so i can't see it there anymore Quote
BearHeart Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I can still see them! Me too. Post #1554. Quote

Hewman Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Me too. Post #1554. That would just be your computer caching, they're not actually there. It won't be visible to anyone that hasn't seen it already. Anyway, it's just a matter of hours until we can see high resolution pics and discuss every detail. Quote

The pics arent there but the name of the site where they are is there. ahh now i got it! i was looking for ana ctual clickable link all the time. this looks fantastic, it's like the MMV of harry potter! can't wait to see pics from the interior of the bank. If you go to the thread on that site where the set is discussed, it shows interior pics of all the buildings. The bank, unfortunately, has the least impressive interior Quote
metalandi Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Yeah, i saw them now. To be honest, i expected a bit more from the interior. But let's wait to discuss that until the pictures are here on the site. Quote
badboytje88 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Has this been posted already? Edit by Hinckley: Stop and read the threads first, people! TLG will officially announce this set very very soon. Just be patient! Sorry for posting this 'too soon'. It has been posted on lowlug so I guessed it was ok to post it here. Sorry. Edit by Hinckley: lowlug has not posted these pics. Quote
Hinckley Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Me too. Post #1554. Thanks for pointing that out so I could edit it out. I'm tired of babysitting this thread. It'll be re-opened in 2 hours. Anyone posting these pics here will have their account suspended. So there. I'm excited about this too guys, but let's show some respect to TLG's request and not post them until you see them on our frontpage. They'd like to have a surprise reveal at a convention... Thanks. Hinckley Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I'm aware it's on LEGO.com now, just being stubborn. Quote
Siegfried Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 ...and it's time now! I've de-hidden all the posts. Quote

Matn Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 It was well worth the wait. Admittedly, I saw a glimpse of it earlier today, but I'm glad I had the patience to not look back. Ah, Svelte, thanks for not showing or saying more about this earlier. I couldn't stand it if the wait was longer, I think. Then I'll just build the buildings from the pictures... Hm... Quote

Ah, Svelte, thanks for not showing or saying more about this earlier. I couldn't stand it if the wait was longer, I think. Then I'll just build the buildings from the pictures... Hm... But Gringott's won't look half as good without the lined 2x2 rounds, and I think Borgin and Burkes has some kind of special windows. Quote
Matn Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Yeah, I don't even own half of the parts of this great set. But I should be able to build a Wizarding Wheezes in the same style before this set is released, though. The new set really makes things good again, with those rereleases we got as set, we now got this fantastic set in exchange. Quote
drevim Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Not to detract from Diagon Alley, but.. Is there any chance that TRU has an exclusive release for the sets today? The reason I ask is, I was told both at WalMart and Target that they couldn't put out the sets. I mentioned that they were available on their online stores, and both said they couldn't pull them out. Unless they are confused by the Oct 1 release as in tonight (USA tonight). Just seemed odd that not one but 2 different stores said it. TRU has them out, but it's hard to choke down an extra $5 ($16) for a $11 set, and extra $20 for a $129 set. Guess this is the price I pay for not preordering. Quote
Sirius Black Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Re: Drevim Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but TRU does have the sets available now. Now back to the more important news . WOW! That has to be one of the best sets designed yet. These buildings are on the detail level of exclusive sets, not just for a liscenced theme! Gringotts has perhaps my favorite design element-the tilted columns, but Borgin and Burkes, not to mention Ollivanders, are near-perfect as well. Take a look at the piece count and price. 2000 pieces for a $150 dollar set with 11 figures in a liscenced theme!!!! That is a most unusual occurence! And take a look at those figures... We finally get Gred and Forge, who will make the burrow a better place, and we finally have someone who can make those wands that our characters need. Personally, i could have done without Greyback, and instead included Narcissa Malfoy, or a new character but oh well. BTW, why did Hermione steal Ginny's sweater . I am assuming that F and G are wearing their WWW outfits, but has that been verified? Now I have another set to look forward to! Has a second HP wave been verified? Sirius Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 BTW, why did Hermione steal Ginny's sweater . Obvious sign of a superhero(well, it could happen to a user of magic, if they wore costumes). You're walking down the street and the only villian that knows your real name comes and attacks you, you have to get into costume and fight. Hermione must have forgotten where her muggle clothes were and had to borrow Ginny's. Hopefully it's just preliminary, or else people will notice... I didn't even see anything about the set until it was revealed, it's almost funny reading the "Where is it???? " and then the "OMG it's amazing!!!! ". Quote
