This is my entry for the CCCVII in the Technological Advance category.

Sir Isaac Newton made a significant contribution to the development of Optics. He opened the decomposition of light into the spectrum due to dispersion by passing through a prism. With the help of triangular glass prisms break white light into seven colors (the spectrum), thus proving its complexity (the phenomenon of dispersion)

This and other MOCs on the flickr

A nice topic for technology-oriented MOC and very smart rendering of the original picture.

Awesome MOC, and built appropriate on his birthday!

I like the picture with lights off...really nice!

Very cool MOC - my favorite part is the microscope - nice job!

A very nice and colourful creation. Nicely done even down to the picture of himself on the wall

Good luck in the competition.

This is a very nice moc.

Well done! :thumbup::classic:

 @ the pic of himself on the wall and the apple on his head.

Very good vignette. I love the way you made the colours on the canvas.

The minifigure is very nice.

How did you get the portrait of Isaac in lego.

Anyway, I cannot wait until I see your next Moc.

Absolutely spot on!!

I love it, the only way it could be better is if you could somehow make your light as visible as the picture.

A wonderfull MOC, filled with realistic details and it looks very much like the picture. As good as possible when done with LEGO I think.

Much luck and fun with the contest  .

Great moc, it looks really like the picture.

Well done.

the Inventor

What a fantastic MOC 'Kubik Rubik':sweet:

I agree with 'Joe H' - cool looking microscope !

Great work 'Kubik Rubik' ! :sweet::grin::laugh:

Hello!

That's absolutely lovely! So small but so full of details. All those coloured vessels and pots plus the excellent visible spectrum of light. Very nice! And those tiles with grain pattern work really perfectly to imitate the historical image. :classic:

Cheers,

~ Christopher

Simply wonderful! I really like the clever designs for the prism and the color spectrum result

Btw, you say this is for CCCVII but it is not that contest supposed to be Middle Ages related?

Nice perseption of Newton on the figure and sweet portrait of him, isn't the from Medival Market Village?

and fantastic idea you did Newton justice

Amazingly superb vignette

Awesome MOC, I like the darkest picture best. You have put in lots of detail.

That's quite clever of you! I like most everything about this MOC, particularly how you've included the bottles and draughts for his Alchemical studies in the background. Newton was so cool...

Awesome! Clever! Detailed, and i love the original building methods used, such as the microscope and the light thing he put up to the window

JUST AWESOME! the idea and moc- perfect stuff!
