I never got around to telling this, but one day when I was on Eurobricks, my laptop froze. It started making clinking noises, and other sounds. I wasn't even doing anything else on the computer. The screen turned pink and a martrix pattern went across the screen. I have a new computer now, but it really got fried and was ruined, hardrive finished too. I lost 2500 songs, tons of photos, and plenty of schoolwork. Now, I don't blame the server, but could it have been the website? Is it possible? Has anything like this happened to anyone else? (this happened maybe a year ago, I just forgot about it)

That sounds horrible!

I'm not a staff member, nor do I represent EB in any way... but how old was your computer?

It could have been coincidence if it's a really old laptop, it could have just died, like most PCs take a dump after a while.

Quite impossible.

Clicking noises = dying hard disk/failing fan/optical drive.

Probably, the computer worked for a bit with an old hardrive. And the fan went nuts and heated up.

Nope, it's just your computer dying. These things happen. Did you have backups?

I'm going to change your topic title because it's sheer nonsense.

I'm sorry, but there is no way this site could have killed your computer. Mentioning the lose of your schoolwork probably wasn't a good move either. Now that this is all answered, no point it letting it hang around to fill up with crap...

Yeah, that works too.
