This is just an idea I got after staring at my four Army Men for too long. Apologies for the spartan look of the Sedgwick Hotel, I've maxed out my tan and maroon tiles here, and there are a few other shortcuts involved that I hope I've hidden well enough....

I Feel So Funky

This is a really good use for a not so useful minifig.

I like the backpacks for the ghostbusters and the torsos work perfectly. It was that green crazy ghost with the yellow eyes that slimed him right?

:laugh::laugh:

Very nice idea! Ghostbusters is one of my favorite movies since my childhood and I can still remember many of the quotes from there.

Egon's ghost detector looks similar too! Great use of that part!

"I feel so funky."

Clever use of the green minifig parts. Can you top him off with some (Captain  ) green hair or doesn't the green match?

Haha! Very funny and outstanding use of the green Armymen minifig  .

Is there back prinitng on the green figs????

If not reversing the arms would look cool, because the front would be completely green then.

This just made my day, brilliant!

 Very funny, and good use of those new green pieces.:laugh:

the Inventor

Hello!

Indeed very funny vignette! The sceptical face expression of the not slimed Ghostbusters is very recognizable. And the big slime spot on the wall let's us imagine exactly what happened there. :classic:

Cheers,

I would've, but I don't have any green hairpieces. I think it does match, though. Someone with more parts could've made a much less clausrophobic model too, but I was really fighting my limits :hmpf_bad: I had to position Egon so that you can't see his face (Speed Racer - I have no fleshy head with glasses) or torso (Dr. Henry Jones - I only had one German soldier fig).

Black Rabbit: Yep, Slimer.

Big Cam: They're not printed, but I liked how the printing was close enough to the right kind of uniform.

Thanks for the replies!

Cool vignette Dunjohn. I love the way you used the green plates as slime on the wall.

You made an infantile set into something really good.

The walls are a bit strange but the other two minifigures are great.

You're right, thinking about it, I could have made the walls higher by adding a two-layer effect with the lower part a darker colour. Most hotels I've been in have two-tone walls like that. That would look far better, I might change that.

I need to vary my buying habits. Mostly I get vehicle sets, which has left me very short on parts for scenery building.

 A while ago I had the idea to do this, but I still don't have the Army Men Battlepack. Even if you did use shortcuts, this is still a nice little MOC.

Black Rabbit: Yep, Slimer.
I'm actually pretty sure it's Rotta.

'Who ya gonna call ?' :alien:

Love this I do especially the backpacks - totally sick and awesome ! :sweet:

Good one 'Dunjohn' - really cool design you have done ! :sweet::grin::laugh:

Very cute work! It certainly raised a smile.

That's a really good idea! Great job. I love that movie.

   I love the idea. I really need to grab a few of those sets. Anyway good job

Haha! I like this a lot! I love how you used the base on the wall

Excellent! That piece does make for a good pke meter.

Nice work, it made me laugh! The backpacks are excellent.

Have you considered using flat tiles for the slime on the floor instead of tiles with studs?

Funny! And clever use for that soldier

Very nice moc! Seeing it put a smile on my face. Ahhh the old times...

Haha, this is marvelous. Brilliant use of the new figs! Truly an entertaining scene

Interesting use of the bases. I imagined them useful for grass and land, but I never imagined them used for slime.
