501st Commando Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 This is a small 16X16 moc for a contest on another site. The contest is to build a scene in the OT with a fig that was in the Clone Wars. I chose to do the scene when the Emperor arrives on the 2nd death star. The Emperor is the fig from the OT and the Clone Wars. Main pic. Another veiw. Some veiws without the figs. Enjoy! Quote
RoryoCox Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 That is a beautiful MOC. I love the way you made the shuttle ramp with the poles. The positioning of the minifigures is good. This is one of my favorite MOCs of the last few weeks because of how different it is. Well Done and I can't wait until I see your next MOC. Burman Quote
CommanderFox Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 An amazingly SNOTy MOC 501st Commando! Really nice job with the ramp and the roof over the ramp. Looks really nice, good luck for your copntest! CommanderFox Quote
KurttKrueger Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 (edited) Loving this one! The Emperor's arrival on the Death Star II is one of my favourite scenes from RotJ. This MOC definately captures the feel of the scene for sure. Now lets see it on a hanger scale, with all that SNOT! Edited January 5, 2010 by KurttKrueger Quote
Palms Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Nice one. Could you link me to the site holding the contest? I love looking at entries from contests it really brings out the best in us lego builders. thanks in advance Quote

lightningtiger Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 'Arise my freind.' AWESOME and yet simple, what a SNOT job ! Good one '501st. Commando' ! Quote
Pellaeon Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Hmm, this reminds me of my 16x16 entry to the Eurobricks Xmas contest for some reason... Are you allowed any overhang? The Xmas contest didn't, but I think if you're allowed overhang, you could make better (and more interesting) use of the space by putting the shuttle in one of the corners. Quote
brickme Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Achoo! Ah man, Look at all the SNOT on you moc. Sorry about that man. Great job! Quote
Commander Flash Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Great scene! The shuttle looks great, and just seeing the Emperor walk out of the shuttle looks sinister. The SNOTty black floor is the only option for this scene, executed well to give a good looking reflection of the figures. Good luck on the contest Quote
RileyC Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Awesome vignette! The shuttle is really well done and the ramp looks really cool with the rough middle for traction. I hope you do well in the contest! Quote
Big Cam Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Very nice scene from a classic scene. wait, that sounds dumb. I like how you included the door piece, it really adds to the whole feel, like you are zoomed in on a bigger picture. Quote
