Thrash Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Hey everyone. I've been posting here for a while, but I never took the time to introduce myself, so I guess I'll do that now. I'm 16 years old, and I've been playing with Legos for pretty much my whole life. I mainly buy castle and Viking sets, but I'll buy other sets if they have a cool minifigure or something that I want. Recently, I devised a game that is similar to D&D, but I use Legos for it. I can post more details if anyone is interested. Also, I made a lot of castle MOC's. I think I'll be posting some of them on brickshelf soon. Quote
Dragon King Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Hello thrash hope you have fun. Yes please post about the game it sounds fun. Quote
Thrash Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Well, basically, you get 3 or 4 people to play. One of them makes up the story and everything, and each of the other people gets a main character. You can make up special abilities for the characters if you want to. You also give them some strength (attack) and agility or constitution (defense). I've played two different ways: The first way, you just assign weapons levels, and then when you attack something, you roll a dice. Take the characters strength, add it to the weapon level, and then multiply it by the dice roll. Then the person who is on defense adds their agility to their armor level and multiplies it by their dice roll. Subtract the defense from the attack, and that's how much damage is done. This system is good at first, but once your characters level up a lot, you start killing people in one hit and it sort of ruins the game. I'll post more about the second method later, but for now, does anyone have any questions about this first method? Quote
