I like it that it's there, I was missing it on the old forum cos I usually "enter" EB through the forum and there was no "easy" way to get to the homepage except through my bookmarks (lazy me, I know) Quote

Hobbes Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 What I also noticed: * Forum or Topic Options button doesn't do anything anymore * There was a "Quick Edit" option once when you clicked on "Edit" in your post. It allowed you to edit the post "directly" without the standard editor. That was a nice feature. Doesn't work anymore. Now, do I have some board settings wrong or is that intended? ... before I go and mess up my board profile with all kind of weird settings Quote

I'm actually at GMT+1 but the board shows the correct time only when I set it to GMT, regardless of the DST setting. That has been the case with the old forum, too, though... Quote

This new system seems to have a lot of new bells and whistles, which I haven't figured out yet - all in the name of progress (I suppose I'm just getting more and more technically challenged). Quote

They just aren't seperated from normal topics anymore. You can add the poll options if you click on "New Topic" and there is somewhere the option to activate a poll. Also, just a general comment, I thought the old system was easier to use.
