I went to the Lego Store in Downtown Disney over the New Year's holiday and came across some interesting piece. In my Flickr photostream, you can see a Harry Potter torso next to a person with Dumbledore hair, a ghost figure, and new colored castle helmet pieces. Also, the guy with the number 1 on his back with the red marks looks new to me. Are these hinting at possible new sets/aspects of current themes? Time will tell.

Sorry man, but I don't think this is any new Harry Potter stuff. The Ghost is from that exclusive castle from a few years back, and the helmet is from a KKII chess set. Don't worry, I'm pretty sure I heard that we ARE gonna get new HP sets this year, even if these pieces aren't in them.

Thanks for sharing your finds, anyway!

That's a display set up my a MOCer. that could those figs could easily be apart of his personal collection. I also spy a purple knight helmet. It is a rare production slip. It's not any new hints to new sets.

I know the ghost is very old, I was suggesting that maybe they were bringing it back :classic: Also, I didnt think it was a from a MOCer because the "Window into the community" section was in a different part with fireworks and stuff. also, i think the soldiers torso was found in a similar movie theatre set up as this. i could be wrong, just being hopeful i guess

That´s not a production slip. It´s from an un-released set in the KK2 line, which also included this weapon:

Another set in this serie was 5996 where you find this green helmet:

and one more set which had this helmet & weapon:

3896.gif & 4438.gif.

The sets that made it out to the public are 5994 & 5999.

I'm not sure if the display was from a MOCer, the Lego store here in Columbus has the exact same one. But no, the parts are older.
