vexorian Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Well, it is already being used for HERO factory. I think it is time for a forum rename. Also, how about letting it have Slizers?, although they are officially part of the technic theme, so were the first Bionicle sets, and they really are more compatible with a Bionicle forum than a technic forum IMHO. Quote
Siegfried Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Actually Slizers already belong there, as do RoboRiders. As for a re-name the staff have been discussing that and it will happen. Feel free to post any ideas! Quote
Steel Dragon Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 "Technic Fantasy Themes"? "Technic Story Themes"? "Other Technic Themes"? New name ideas. PS, Slizer/RoboRiders was AWESOME. Quote
Siegfried Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 "Technic Fantasy Themes"?"Technic Story Themes"? "Other Technic Themes"? I think anything with "Technic" in the name would be confusing... Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Buildable Action Figures After all, it is what they are. Quote
Steel Dragon Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I think anything with "Technic" in the name would be confusing... Well, that IS what they are... as was said, original Bionicle carried the Technic logo, and Slizers were always marked as Technic. Quote
VBBN Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Woah hold up, now I'm confused. Where do Slizers and Roboriders go? I'm assuming Bionicle is the correct forum seeing as they were actually the base of Bionicle, but too many thoughts are going around. Quote

Well since I'm the only staff member who has answered you listen to me! Actually Slizers already belong there, as do RoboRiders. To be clear; all Technic Action Figures (Slizers, Roboriders, Bionicle, Hero Factory) belong in what is currently known as Bionicle. Well, that IS what they are... as was said, original Bionicle carried the Technic logo, and Slizers were always marked as Technic. Yeah I know, but they lost the gears early on and they for the most part didn't come back. Buildable Action FiguresAfter all, it is what they are. That's what I'm leaning towards. Quote
Shadows Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Throwbots part of that assortment? I mistakenly bought one on clearance once ... Quote
Brickthing Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Throwbots part of that assortment? I mistakenly bought one on clearance once ... Throwbots are Slizers for North Americans. I never understood why. As a rule of thumb, the Bionicle forum has all things that have ball-joints and no System. Except Ben 10, that's Shadow's problem. The forum will probably be renamed to something more encompassing closer to Hero Factory's actual release, because currently Bionicle is still the focus. It's not dead yet! Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 "Buildable Figure Themes" "Bionicle and Relatives" - (not too serious) "Action Figure Themes" Just some ideas. Quote
Siegfried Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 "Bionicle and Relatives" - (not too serious) "Bionicle and Friends" Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Bionicle + Buddies. Gotta love alliteration! Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Oh, that alliteration is nice, though I think "Bionicle 'n' Buddies" has a better ring, since I still read the plus sign as "and." Quote
Artahn Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Bionicle, etc. Because I'm lazy and don't want to think up a catchy title... Quote
The Alchemyst Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 What's that word Lego took up recently and has been using it in a storm? "Constraction figures"? Quote
