iamded Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I have to say, dubstep was a genre I found strange and unappealing, one I tended to avoid. But after watching visual effects artists Corridor Digital's video, " " a few times, I found myself more and more liking the music in it.Now here I am, listening to Klaypex's EP, 'Loose Dirt' (which you can get for free at previous link), which is pretty awesome. I particularly enjoy the song 'Rain', which shows me not all dubstep is bad. Quote

Black Stone Cherry is an awesome modern rock band based on the 70's style: And Katatonia's most recent album is awesome too. For the rest are the Irish Rovers the best of all! Quote
Aanchir Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I've been listening to the Ninjago TV show soundtrack a lot lately. Jay Vincent, the composer, has a lot of it available for listening on his website. It's really cool, and much more pleasant to have stuck in your head than the pop-inspired theme song. Quote

def Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Going back through the catalog these days, though still keeping an ear to the ground for new stuff, particularly as year-end lists start surfacing all over the Internet. One of the great electronic artists, with one of the great band names too, Mouse on Mars. Quote
Captain Becker Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 So tell me where you're coming from, FIN, You feeling good at the moment? Yes I am, The place where I roam and that I call home, I try to hold my own and do the best I can, Captain Becker Quote

VBBN Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Fallenangel, in the future when you see spam post(s), please use the report button feature. Anyways, listening to the new song off of the New disturbed collection; I have to admit, i really like this song, it feels more like something off of one of the original albums. i wasnt a huge fan of Asylum. Don't get me wrong, it's a good album, but i just really like this song better. "3" is also very good and wasnt very well known before this album, i'd recommend checking out that song too. For those who don't know, this album is just a collection of all of their bsides/Bonus tracks from previous albums, plus the new song "Mine" Quote
iamded Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 For those who don't know, this album is just a collection of all of their bsides/Bonus tracks from previous albums, plus the new song "Mine" Ooh, thanks for mentioning this. I was totally oblivious to this album's existence. Looks like something I need to get my hands on. I found this song a while ago but happen to be listening to it at the moment. I know youtube is far from the best place for finding good music, but when I found this I was blown away. Being an avid gamer certainly helps in appreciating it, particularly how well she sings the 'dragon language' lyrics. Quote
Tamamono Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 System of a Down today! Right now I'm listening to BYOB, but I've been listening to Soldier Side, Chop Suey, Toxicity, and Ariels on and off all day. Quote
Captain Becker Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Sabaton! Enjoy. And Captain Becker Quote

Going from your avatar, I assume you've heard song? And on the topic of System of a Down, allow me to share this cover of Toxicity I found - on electric violin. As for what I'm listening to, MSTRKRFT's remix of Metric's Monster Hospital. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-c3Pk5wvac8 Quote
Big Cam Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 The only one I could find on youtube was this one with lyrics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPzly4rTJm8&feature=youtube_gdata_player Quote
VBBN Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Not sure how many of you here are electronic fans, or more specifically dubstep, but this song right here is very nice, especially if you got a good subwoofer(as always with anything with good bass;p ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYurExu6QoA&list=LLPDdaWzKkWA3AyN6OAr3oLw&index=1&feature=plpp_video And since I'm in an electronic mood today, Quote

Tamamono Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 I've been listening to So Cold by Breaking Benjamin quite a bit today. It's got quite a dark and depressing vibe to it, but it goes almost perfectly with some of the Western LDD MOCs I've been creating lately. Going from your avatar, I assume you've heard song? As a matter of fact, no, I had not! Thanks for sharing the link, though, it's a great song. And on the topic of System of a Down, allow me to share this cover of Toxicity I found - on electric violin. *snip* Wow, that's awesome! For some reason, the electric violin fits the song extremely well! Quote
iamded Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Wow, that's awesome! For some reason, the electric violin fits the song extremely well! Right? And the fact that it's played by attractive women certainly adds to it. As for what I'm listening to, chances are high that I've linked this before but I really dig this song, so here it is again. I quite like the end of the song FML as it leads into Moar Ghosts N Stuff, on the album 'For Lack of a Better Name...', but I couldn't find that in youtube video form, so... Quote
Captain Becker Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Merry Chrismas and Happy New Year 2012! Captain Becker Quote
Tamamono Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Bit of a strange mix at the moment; I'm listening to Party With Pinkie by DJ Alex S and Indestructible by Disturbed. Right? And the fact that it's played by attractive women certainly adds to it. That's always a plus. Quote
