As soon as my computer gets turned on, live streaming Grateful Dead :skull: (gdradio.net) fills the empty space, 'cause I got turned on many, many years ago and luckily have never found the off switch. Don't believe I ever will.

I am listening to Simpsons sountracks, Monty Python sketches, and a couple of UK bands, including Madness and The Proclaimers. Almost all of my friends pester me about listening to Eighties stuff. And, I would like to set the record straight, I know almost no modern bands. At all. Nada.

Oh, and also, for audiobooks, I'm listening to Dune, The Butlerian Jihad.

Exact same situation with me. I listen to older stuff, and know absolutely nothing of newer bands.

I listen to an eclectic mix of different genre, artists, groups and performers thanks to the varying influences in my life.

I listen to ELO and Queen because of my Dad

I listen to New Romantic music thanks to my Mum

I listen to dance, electronica and Techno in part due to my love of electric tones (embedded in my psyche due to ELO) and from Radio 1 and a cassette tape at an impressionable age

I listen to Metal and Rock building up on my Mum's music tastes.

I listen to things I grew up with on the radio

I listen to anything but: Rap, RnB and most Scremo (some seem to classify punk and alternative as Scremo...)

If I hear it and like it I'll listen to it.

I have equal parts 80s and newer music on my walkman.

Well today i have been listening to MJ on mtv.

I listen to eighties music also more, but I like bands of these times like Franz Ferdinand, the Kaiser Chiefs and the Killers.

Today I am listening to the FFVII Advent Children Complete Soundtrack. I can't wait to get it, this is the film that is motivating me to upgrade to Blu-Ray, so I am listening to the music until the day I get the film  (/reveals self to be fangirl)

I just listened to "THe Mesopotamians" by they might be giants
