Aanchir Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 My musical selection is pretty limited-- while I will tolerate listening to a wide variety of music, the only things on my iPod are a few movie soundtracks and Broadway cast recordings, The Tragic Treasury: Songs from A Series of Unfortunate Events, my Cryoshell music (the Danish band that did promotional music for BIONICLE commercials from 2007-2009), and a whole slew of songs by Mike Oldfield. Mike Oldfield's an artist I'd thoroughly recommend-- his musical styles are diverse, but are all really great listening. Mostly instrumentals, but sometimes with vocals (rarely his own, usually another artist). Right now I'm actually listening to the album Music of the Spheres, his most recent album. Beautiful work. Another note-- many of his albums are best listened to all the way through at once, much like his debut album Tubular Bells. One of the many reasons I never, under any circumstances, put my music on shuffle. Quote
