Plastemaurer Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 "Also sprach Zarathustra", a tone peom by Richard Strauss, inspired by Nietzsches work of the same name. It's probably best known for it's introduction (called "Sonnenaufgang", sunrise) which was used in Kubricks "2001: A Space Odyssey". Quote
Tereglith Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Daft Punk's epic "Tron: Legacy" soundtrack. I just got it over the weekend, and I've listened to it about six times already. Undoubtedly the best part of the film. Quote

Professor Flitwick Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Two great orchestral pieces composed for the television series Lost: Quote
JimBee Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Thanks for sharing those Flitwick. That first one is such a sad piece. I still get goosebumps when I hear it and am reminded of the series finale (or the Season 4 finale). The song I was listening to was "Lonely Day" by System of A Down. It's unusually harmonic and relaxed for them, but I like it. Quote

Squeezeplay Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 (edited) I always listened to the widest array of genres possible. The only music I won't listen to really is polka, and not much country/western. I mainly just listen to the radio while driving around hunting action figures one day a week. Mostly Classic Rock, Alternative, Rap, the occasional Metal and Classical. Edited March 17, 2011 by Squeezeplay Quote
