Pandora Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 A while back Radiohead were mentioned and I'm another fan. I just keep coming back to this track, which is beautifully mellow and relaxing, but despite showing some (at times) energetic dancing, the video is suits it very well. It changed my perspective slightly to know that it is choreographed. Radiohead - Lotus Flower: Quote
def Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Radiohead - Lotus Flower: At first I thought you'd posted this Quote
Pandora Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 At first I thought you'd posted this That's a really funny clip, but I'm glad it's only short, and I don't think I could watch it/listen to it again! Quote
art_apples Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 This might bring back happy memories to others... Hardfloor's mix of Mory Kante's Yeke Yeke... play it as loud as you dare, pills are of course optional... Quote

Big Cam Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I watched "Get Him to the Greek" last night, and there is some pretty funny and catchy music from the made up band, at least I think it is made up. Infant Sorrow - Furry Walls It's much funnier once you've seen the movie and actually watch the video at the end of the movie. Quote
Captain Becker Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Vampire Weekend, listened this song quite a while now. Captain Becker Quote
Big Cam Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Not crazy about the song, but the video was interesting, Jake Ginlenhal or however you spell it is one of my favorite actors. Quote
R2F Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 You know how I roll. Really good song I truly recommend this. Quote
manmeet005 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Right now I am listening to various background music of different car games. Quote
Widdi Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) At the moment I'm listening to a instrumental version of Guaglione from the Group " Mandulini Napulitani". I think that one is from the 50s. Sadly I hadn't any 1950s radios in my Cellar, when the last Plattenkiste was sent (Programme on ORF Salzburg, which I get directly into the Antenna, if the conditions are right, about 180km away from Salzburg, Austria) At the moment, there are two 50s Grundig radios in my cellar, which I got as gifts or saved from the trash. A quite worn one from 1954, which still plays, after I've fixed the plug, but it needs some cleaning, since it doesn't sound too great any more, but Heck only a change at the plug and ist runs, after 57 years! And another smaller one from 1958-1960, which is on middle wave, since it is only able to play UKW, if you chancge the antenna plug, which is plugged in "Antenne" (Roof) Cost of both Radios zero, because their former owners are moving to smaller flats in the next months. mFg Widdi Edited July 22, 2011 by Widdi Quote

Sisco Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Some Sum 41. Their album "Chuck" is a great album, and the story behind the name is really cool. Quote
Big Cam Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 I keep hearing this song every time I'm in the car, it's rather catchy.Damn pop music. Quote
def Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 90's Brit-pop Pulp doesn't jump out at me as much as they used to, especially the lyrics. They're great, but now that I'm beyond high school relationship drama, they're harder to relate to... You're going to let him bore your pants off again... I don't care what your doin', I don't care if you screw him, just as long as you save a piece for me... I could ironically laugh at that sort of stuff then, but I'd never relate to it now. Great songs though. Quote
Pandora Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 This seems like a good song for today - Float On by Modest Mouse. It is also one of my favourite songs, so I'd be happy to hear it any old day, really. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 (not nearly as depressing as their band name would suggest! )And it's also great for music video's: Quote
