Brainbox Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Whatever I can find to stop myself singing Seasons of Love from Rent... It's been stuck in my head since our cast sang through it at a rehearsal earlier. Currently The Living Daylights by a-ha. Quote
The Crazy One Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 (edited) Wow, I just discovered Hollywood Undead. I love them. Some songs to look out for are Young, My Town, Comin in Hot, Been to Hell, Undead and Bullet. (An odd song not in their style but hilarious. It's a happy song about suicide but it's super catchy). Sokratesz Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I had heard of Rise Against but never really listened to them before. Saw them live last week and been humming 'Savior' ever since. Oh, and The Offspring. One cannot hear 'Pay the man' often enough. Quote
Master Sam Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I mostly listen to the grunge bands from the 90s, such like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney and the Melvins. But I also listen to today's music (Rise Against, Rage Against The Machine, System of a Down, Foo Fighters). To some other great bands of the past I listen, too. But currently, I'm listening to Johnny Cash: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guocvS7XQW0 Quote

Master Sam Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Master Sam,RATM is 90's music :D SOAD and Foo's partly too ;) Well, you're right ;) But what I meant with 90s is that those bands doesn't "really" exist anymore. Yeah, AiC and Mudhoney are still doing music, but it isn't the same. But RATM still makes great music! I had a poor choice of words Quote
Captain Becker Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Right now, cool remix from old finnish child TV show, called:Rölli. Anyway, enjoy, and feel free to laugh, i did. Captain Becker Quote
Ratshot Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 This song sounds......different for the first 23 seconds, than it turns into a masterpeice! by Foster the People. Quote
Ogre Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Fave is metal. Next is classic rock. But, there's a TON of great music out there from just about every genre and I like a lot of it. Currently listening to the remastered anniversary edition of "Peace Sells...But Who's Buying". GREAT sound! Quote
JimBee Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Here is more along the lines of what I mostly listen too......Metalcore and hard rock. IMHO, it'd be a good song if they were actually vocalizing instead of grunting/screaming. That's pretty much my opinion on all screamo/metalcore. Anyways, it's good to see more people listening to grunge/90s rock, which is what I listen to a lot of the time. Right now I'm listening to this: Such a timeless song. Quote
The Crazy One Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I reckon I'll be one of the few but Enter Shikari are great. Quote
blueandwhite Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 With Pearl Jam coming to Toronto this weekend I'm brushing up on my 90s music. Right now I'm listening to Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns. Mother Love Bone really was something else. It would be interesting to know how the 90s would have turned out if Andrew Wood never overdosed. Quote
Big Cam Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 LMFAO - Part Rock Anthem. Every time this comes up on my playlist, I wish I was in a club. Quote
Captain Becker Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Water, its a precious thing and normal to us, but its also the most valuable thing on the Earth. I listen this song because of the theme month i guess. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0pMgzYUEwA Captain Becker Quote

Peppermint_M Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 This and that. At the moment I am listening to a lot of VAST. Which is funny really, as I have had this one track for about 11 years and it was always my favourite. It has been on tape, on several CDs of mine every single one of my digital players. I use it to test my personal idea of sound quality of headphones and earbuds when I buy new ones. This weekend I purchased new headphones (Skullcandy ) so I wanted to test them, my walkman was out of battery and can't be played when charging. My media player on the laptop is slow, so I fired up youtube to test out my new aquisition. As is the case, youtube had related videos and off I went on a listen through an artists work that I really should have done when I first got the internet Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Genesis - Jesus He Knows Me I think it's amazing that people could actually give money to televangelists, and I'm a Christian. To see where Phil gained his inspiration, watch this too! Quote
