iamded Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 <Portishead - Biscuit> Portishead huh? The only song of theirs I've heard is 'Machine Gun'. They're rather interesting. This song's not bad at all. I'm listening to a lot of the Super Meat Boy and Bit.Trip Runner soundtracks. It's nice having them play in the background while I go about my day. The Bit.Trip one has some songs by Anamanaguchi, if anyone's ever heard of them before. They make their music mostly using synthesisers: a hacked NES and Gameboy, which makes for some retro gaming sounding music. And is pretty interesting in itself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GItw1qZLdsU Quote

Why is this site full of high school kids Go out and buy a copy of Portishead's Dummy. When you start hanging out with girls, and you have one of them actually in your room, you'll be happy to have it to show off how worldly you are (I tease, I tease, I know you're in college ) Quote
iamded Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Yes sir! I shall acquire this album effective immediately. Doesn't mean I'll stop listening to the retro-esque video game sound tracks though. Quote
JimBee Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Finally some new music from Everlast: Edit: Alopex, you post the best music. Also like those video game songs, iamded. Quote
K-Nut Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 I'm probably the only person here who hasn't heard of even half of these bands. That's probably because I spend most of my day here! Recently, since I saw it when we went to New York, I got hooked on the Addams Family soundtrack. It's actually pretty good, not like you'd expect. Plus I've been listening to Christmas music, particularly the Kelsey Grammar Christmas Carol. There's some really good music on there! Quote

JimBee Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 [Gotye] I was just about to post that, I've been listening to it nonstop since I heard it on the radio for the first time a few days ago. Really wish this kind of music was done well more of the time. For today: Quote
Tamamono Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Wow, there's been some pretty good stuff posted here lately! Iamded, I can't help but get a very 'Megaman' vibe off the Anamanaguchi (although I suppose that's the point! ). Here's something I've been listening to today; Anyone Anymore by Lovex: (I'm allowed to post this here, right?) Quote
posades Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Been listening to Swedish House Mafia's Antidote lately, gets me pumped when I'm working out. Quote
iamded Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Well, def knows best. I've been listening to Portishead's album Dummy, and it's great. Also been listening to Metric again, it's been long enough since I last went through my Metric phase to get back into them. Man, I love music. Quote
The Blue Brick Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I'm mainly listening to Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell, and Tyler the creator. I just love their form of lyricism in their rapping. I think its much better than the other mainstream garbage. Quote
WesleyNL Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 my type of music is mostly from anime/games Quote
