Trexxen Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 (edited) Does anyone know Muse? They are a great band. My favourite songs would have to be Starlight and Knights of Cydonia. Right on! Muse is amazing, though my favorites by them are probably either Map of the Problematique, Hysteria, or Stockholm Syndrome. By the way, a church I went to recently was playing Starlight - it started the second I sat down, actually, so it was the most epic part of my life still today =P Currently listening to... Inertiatic ESP - The Mars Volta (amazing prog/experimental band combining the vocal style of Muse or Coheed and Cambria with the music of Dream Theater or Rush) Take The Veil - The Mars Volta (*looks down*) White Pearl, Black Oceans - Sonata Arctica (So much WIN) Feels Like The First Time - Foreigner (Can play on Keyboard =D) Whiskey In The Jar - Metallica (I don't care that it's a cover, I don't care that it's post Black Album, this is Metallica's best song IMO.) [EDIT] Also, Why Does It Hurt When I Pee? - Frank Zappa (Pure. Epic. Look it up on Youtube.) ~Trexxen Edited October 25, 2008 by Trexxen Quote

hollisbrick Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 I got the album Good Morning Revival by Good Charlotte testerday so I'm listening to that Pretty good, their older stuff is better though but still good. The album was actually gonna be named Broken hEARTS PARADE but MCR released the Black Parade not too long before so they changed it to not be similar. IMO I think they should've went a head with it because that title suits the theme to the album more. So umm..yea just found that interesting Quote
Buttons Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 (edited) Love's mot a competition - kaiser cheifs (cover by Paramore) [sigh] I really can't spell. Edited November 10, 2008 by Buttons Quote
iamded Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Was this topic pinned once? Or am I going crazy? Anyway, recently I've been having fun playing songs through VLC Media Player and speeding them up to twice their original speed (well, 1.5 times to be correct). It's hilarious! They actually sound great, really fast paced and intense. That is until the voice comes in. Playing Disturbed, I have never heard a more hard-core squirrel in my life. Coincidentally, when you slow down 'The Hamsterdance Song' it's just some guy singing really slowly, it sounds ridiculous. ~Peace Quote
