Trexxen Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Unique Builder, love your choice of The Trees - one of Rush's best songs, yet it's not credited as much as others... Darth_Legois, I don't normally like pop music (not sure if the song actually classifies as rap, it's got a more techno vibe to it than most), but Just Dance has been stuck in my head for a while <_< Anyways, got my old computer back, and with it my discographies...yay... Muse - Stockholm Syndrome Muse - Uno Muse - Exo-Politics Muse - Hysteria Muse - Supermassive Black Hole Sonata Arctica - Black Sheep Manowar - Hail And Kill Rush - The Trees (<3) Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell (still, think I mentioned that last time, but I still love it =D) Dio - Holy Diver (*looks at user* Not you...=P) Man, I LOVE Muse... ~Trexxen Quote
Squeaker Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 The Offspring - Pretty Fly (for a white guy)... I just like it because of the percussion. Hard 'n Phirm- Holes (hillarious, look it up on youtube. Seriously. You'll love it.) , Pi, and Not Illegal (All of these are on youtube) anything on rathergood.com anything by "Wierd Al" Yankovic Violent Femmes - Gone Daddy Gone (and everything else by them.) (This song is TEH LAYGOES! not teh m39@8lokz.) That's about it for now. Quote
Eilif Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 The conclusion of the impeachment trial of Rod Blagoevich, Governor of Illinois. Juicy stuff on NPR now! Quote
UniqueBuilder Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Aren't they great? You're only saying that because they're Canadian! Unique Builder, love your choice of The Trees - one of Rush's best songs, yet it's not credited as much as others... The Trees... One of my favourites of the songs Rush have made, among 2112 (no duh), Cygnus X-1 Book II, Circumstances and more... I also love The Manhattan Project, not just because of the melody and song, but also because of the theme of the lyrics (the project that lead to the first nuclear weapons). The big bang -- took and shook the world Shot down the rising sun The end was begun -- it would hit everyone When the chain reaction was done The big shots -- try to hold it back Fools try to wish it away The hopeful depend on a world without end Whatever the hopeless may say I can't figure out whether the Britney crap is sarcasm talk or not??! Trexxen Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 And now I'm on a Thrash kick...=D (Guitar Hero: Metallica may have SOMETHING to do with it...*cough*) Creeping Death - Metallica Master Of Puppets (I don't really like this song that much, but the solo and slow parts are <3) - Metallica Am I Evil? - Metallica (Cover, I think the original band is King Diamond) War Ensemble - Slayer Souls Of Black (Rerecord) - Testament (a much heavier and better version; used in Rock Band 2 and was supposed to be on a canceled album) [Thrash ends here] Sing for Absolution - Muse Sober - Tool (Lateralus is also good, Shine) Not much else at the moment, to be honest =P ~Trexxen Quote
