dr_spock Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 I'm taking a break from building my 8258 crane truck and listening to: Funky Town - Lipps. It's 1970s disco if I recall. SOS - ABBA. Quote
The Who Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Disposable Heroes, by Metallica. Live in Germany 1985 before the Master of Puppets album was released. Quote

Trexxen Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I've been on a major Sonata Arctica spree recently, thanks to me remembering that their new album was out...Currently listening to "Zeroes" by them, which is a really unique song. It was at first a little annoying, especially the opening part which was repetitive and, partway through, atonal; but then once it fit in with the entire song I understood the masterpiece at work. It's brilliant =D (Also, see my signature.) Also have been listening to: Dream Theater - A Nightmare To Remember Dream Theater - In The Name Of God Dream Theater - Octavarium (All three of those songs, btw, are longer than 14 minutes. Yay!) Dethklok - Laser Cannon Deth Sentence Foo Fighters - The Pretender Muse - Feeling Good Muse - Hysteria Megadeth - 44 Minutes (This entire album is good, and I'm not just saying that because I got it autographed by Dave Mustaine and Chris Broderick...=D) Europe - The Final Countdown Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster Stronger/Around The World (Alive 2007) And a lot more, but those are the ones that stand out. =D ~Trexxen Quote
Cloney Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 (edited) Ive been listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers since I was 12. Love their songs, especially Fortune Faded, Easily, By the way and Around the world. Try them out on Youtube. They're awesome. I also enjoy listening to System of a down, paramore, Escape the fate and the Foo fighters. Edited January 12, 2010 by Cloney Quote

Tereglith Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I must have listened to of "Unstoppable" by E. S. Posthumus twenty times over the past couple of weeks. The part at 1:30 never fails to make me happy. Also, now that the Christmas season is over, it's time for me to break out "The Tragic Treasurey" by the Gothic Archies (a fifteen track CD inspired by Lemony Snicket's a series of unfortunate events. It's both somber and amusing at the same time) Quote

Dunjohn Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I've been listening to a lot by a Russian artist named Glukoza recently. Kind-of a ravey, poppy sound. Probably really shallow, but I can't understand a word, and it's satisfyingly thumping. Up to now, I only knew the Russian for "yes" (da) and "no" (nyet). Glukoza's taught me "wedding" (svadba). I should be able to survive over there now. Quote
BlueDragonZ Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I'm listening to Taylor Swift Fifteen at the moment. Quote
