Posted January 17, 201015 yr I know it's a Ford Explorer, but I started to call it a Jeep, cause in Portugal that's what we call to these kind of cars, and now I can't name it any other way! This is a prototype of what I want to use in a future community project. I'm not authorized to tell much about it... :) More photos, at Flickr.
January 17, 201015 yr Those are some really nice decals, I also really like the overall sleekness of the jeep. I loved the Jurassic Park movies and this jeep really lives up to the movies.
January 17, 201015 yr Wonderful model, one of the best JP Lego adaptations I've ever seen, really BRAVO! And after this Lego Iberia (Portugal & Spain) will say there's no real interest in Lego here... Edited January 17, 201015 yr by BlueBard
January 17, 201015 yr Wow! While I don't use decals myself, I do appreciate them very much when others use them well. And you just raised the bar, sir! Great creation, looks very faithful to the actual thing. Keep us posted on that community event, please. It'll still be worth checking out if the rest is half as good as this car.
January 17, 201015 yr If jurrasic park sets were as good as that one, I probably would have bought one.
January 17, 201015 yr That is a really good and accurate "Jeep" from the film you created marcosbessa! I like the custom stickers details as the headlights and the bar in the front. I really hope you will post pics or/and links when this "future project" is happening. I would definatley buy one car if that was official!!
January 18, 201015 yr Hello! A really excellent jeep you're presenting to us here. It's so good that I'm now keen on watching the movie again. I hope you havetwo glasses of water placed in the interior for one of the best scenes of the movie. Cheers, ~ Christopher
January 18, 201015 yr Those decals are incredible! They look like they're high-quality printed parts. I also like the color scheme and look of the vehicle, especially the front bumper with lights! I've faved it on Flickr, too!
January 19, 201015 yr Ah! As a big fan of making and viewing MOCs from the Jurassic Park trilogy, I must say this is as good as it gets for that Explorer. The decals are great, the design is great, everything is great. I'd also like to thank you for building this MOC, now it's got me finally motivated to make another JP vehicle.
January 19, 201015 yr This is really a great creation really it's stunning! The decals are great and just the overall design is clever if only it were an actual set.
January 19, 201015 yr Wow, at first I though the decal was instead printed on. It's very well done! I love the front grill on the Jeep, and of course the Jeep as a whole is very cool. The colours look great too. ~Peace
January 19, 201015 yr I love the front grill on the Jeep, I love to see pieces used in different clever ways like on the front of this jeep. Really well done! I think you have done a brilliant job, with so many great details. I had never noticed before how well trans-red and dark red go so well together. And those decals.... immaculate!
January 19, 201015 yr I had never noticed before how well trans-red and dark red go so well together. And those decals.... immaculate! Same! This is a sweet creation!
January 19, 201015 yr This is a prototype of what I want to use in a future community project. I'm not authorized to tell much about it... :) on Eurobricks or a project with a local LEGO club? Anyway, I love it! Looks as accurate as can be from what I can see! Keep it up! How long you going to keep us wait for this?
January 19, 201015 yr Author Hey, guys.... Thanks!! This is a prototype for a project within my LUG (Comunidade0937). We wanted to build it to our next big event: Tomar LEGO Edited January 19, 201015 yr by marcosbessa
January 19, 201015 yr Wonderful creation, I really love it. I would really like to see it in a diorama. Good work. the Inventor
January 19, 201015 yr How long you going to keep us wait for this? [/img] Oh, my, now you're making me jealous. I'd bet that marcosbessa could make one better than mine, looking at the quality of his Ford Explorer. I would absolutely love to see your take on the Fleetwood RV, marcosbessa. Have you had any thoughts about making it or the Mercedes-Benz? Edited January 19, 201015 yr by Striker
January 19, 201015 yr That's pretty nice! Except its to green. Really hope Macro can, Looks like it'd be cool in military MOC's to!
January 19, 201015 yr Author (...)Have you had any thoughts about making it or the Mercedes-Benz? No... I didn't though about any other vehicle yet... We were working on some much more "dynamic" ideas, but I can't tell nothing more..... But I shall take some time untill my next adventure in Jurassic Park world... I have my big museum on hands!
