Anio Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 Where can I buy the instruction? Here is the answer : http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37663&st=150#entry1597460 Quote
Bbafett Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Im trying to build this one at the moment but its becoming almost impossible to get all the pieces for it... Im coming to 550 euros for almost all pieces (still 500 short) PLUS These 2 pieces are priced out of everything! jesus.... 30159 -- Tan Magnet Holder Plate 2 x 2 Bottom -- Goes for like 8 euros each (need 18 lol!) 4592c05 -- Light bluish Grey tap 1 x 1 Without Hole in End -- Goes for like 2-3 euros EACH! (Need 82! omfg) Just those are around 349 euros!!!!! Is there a way around this? :/ Did you ever get the above parts you were talking about. I have am going through the list of parts to find the average price I would have to pay and I have seen the magnet holders is my biggest issue. Tan almost doesn't exist. Having to get them in whatever color I can find. Anyone know of a good spot to order these from? Quote
cei Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 The magnet holders are always a problem. I think I ended up with mine in white, but had to purchase from about 4 different stores to get the quantity needed. They'll never been seen so the colour doesn't matter - even a mix of colours is fine. Quote
samlr Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Some persons seem to have solved the magnet problem using other types of fixation like technics parts or parts with towballs. I will probably use one of these two solutions. Did anyone here try ? Quote
Anio Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 Dear Eurobrickers, Today, I did a very unpleasant discovery : a guy from Imperium der Steine (his name is not worth mentioning ) shares LDD files of the Venator for free. I think this is very disrespectful. Even more when we consider this : - the guy boasts about his LDD file ("Mine is free while instruction is for sale") - for an instruction which required a tremendous amount of work, we charge only 5€. Even a Chinese worker his more paid than that. :o I emailed the staff of the website, and hope they will bring an appropriate answer to that matter. Anyway, if you notice any other behaviour like that, I would be very grateful you to email me at setechnic[@]gmail[dot]com Thank you. Quote
Mr Man Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 - the guy boasts about his LDD file ("Mine is free while instruction is for sale") He's not claiming ownership as well as the instructions is he? It must be hard to make sure people will act on trust with something like this. Quote

camtank1 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Hey! I'm just wondering with the instructions, is it a PDF file or will I get a hard copy if I purchase it? It may seem like a dumb question, but just wondering how I would get the instructions if I did purchase. Thanks :) Quote
Randy7r Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Hello, Where can i Find the details to do the payment for the instructions? Best regards Randy Quote

Jim Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 It's not that hard. You need to create a new wanted list on Bricklink. The list has an ID. You need to use that ID the upload the wanted list. Not exactly sure where to put the ID, but you should be able to figure it out. Not behind a computer right now, so I can't explain exactly how it works, sorry. Quote

sandtrooper Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Hello, I've just started collecting the parts to build a Venator of my own. I've hit the snag with the Magnet Holder Plate 2 X 2 Bottom. Has anyone come up with an alternate way of attaching the magnets? If so please respond, hopefully with some pictures. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Quote
sandtrooper Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I did some more research and saw this piece: http://www.bricklink...Item.asp?P=2609 Would it be possible to pin one to a 2 X 4 technic plate to create a Magnet Holder Plate? http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=3709b If so which pin would be best? Thanks, Pat Quote
