January 25, 201015 yr Author I think you're missing one JimButcher, or you don't have a pic of it. Temple of the Ark? If you read the topic, you would see that this has already been answered: I am missing a few:- The Lost Tomb (my deepest regrets that I didn't grab one while I could) - Peril in Peru (as jamtf mentioned. It's not my most desired since it's non-canon, but I wouldn't mind having that brick-built plane). - Chauchilla Cemetery - Brickmaster exclusive jeep So far I've simply kept mine in the boxes and not on display with the exception of one Motorcycle Chase and one Ambush in Cairo.I haven't yet decided to get the ComicCon Exclusive given the cost of such a small set, part of which is just a duplicate of the Brickmaster one. I also regret not getting a couple copies of Race for the Stolen Treasure and Shangai Chase as I thought those were particularly fine sets. At some point I'll try to decide how I want to display these sets though I'll probably have to compliment them with some additions and modifications. That's a nice collection, prof1515, but hopefully you'll post some pictures soon. Lists are so boring. I'm probably just going to try to build the ComicCon exclusive myself. It doesn't look too hard, I'll just need to order those dark bley Technic frames.
January 26, 201015 yr Here's my list: Motocycle Chase, Jungle Duel, River Chase, Lost Tomb, Race for the Stolen Treasure. Now, I'm going to buy Temple Escape, Temple of Akator, Shanghai Chase, Ambush in Cairo and probably Jungle Cutter and Peril in Peru. By the way, is there a difference between the Brickmaster Set anf the ComicCon Set?
January 27, 201015 yr The only one I have is Ambush in Cairo, but I do wish to get more as they are pretty good sets.
January 27, 201015 yr In more-or-less story order (in the internal chronology of the series, as opposed to film release order, and in as close to story order as the sets themselves allow), I have: 2x Shanghai Chase 1x Temple Escape 3x Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb 2x Fight on the Flying Wing 7x Race for the Stolen Treasure 3x Indiana Jones Motorcycle Chase 2x Fighter Plane Attack 2x Peril in Peru 2x Jungle Duel 2x Jungle Cutter 2x River Chase 2x Temple of the Crystal Skull ... plus the Brickmaster exclusive (officially "Indy's Jungle Cruiser," AFAIK), and the first three minifig keychains (Indy, Henry Sr. and the German biker), if one counts them. I'm glad to have been able to get lots of duplicates, though I do always want more (for "army building," parts packs, etc.); in particular I really wish I'd been able to get at least a couple more apiece of both Jungle Duel and Temple of the Crystal Skull. I'm still hopeful I can perhaps find one or two more of the latter somewhere other than eBay or Bricklink, but Jungle Duel was the first set to be discontinued (well, apart from the Brickmaster one, of course), and I just didn't realize how quickly it would go. I actually still have a shot at getting another Temple Escape (I'm glad that set stuck around so long; I guess it was just widely recognized as a great set, and it continued to sell for quite a while), so I'm hopeful about that, and I also anticipate getting more Jungle Cutters, though I don't know how many my funds will permit. I still have to catch up on most of the sets from the last wave; Fighter Plane Attack is the only one I've gotten (even though Ambush in Cairo is so affordable). I'm always in something of a state of set acquisition triage, where I'm buying the sets I most need to get right now while putting others off as long as I dare, since I can't afford to get everything all at once. I'm going to have a very hard time getting as many copies of The Temple of Doom as I want, but we'll see... As for display, a lot of mine aren't even opened yet, though I've put together at least one of each of most of the '08 sets. Those are mostly still together, but stored in storage drawers and tubs. I have a tiny studio apartment without nearly as much space as LEGO demands. I currently hope to move to a larger place near the end of summer, and then I should have a lot more room to indulge in LEGO building (and display, and play...). In the meantime, the majority of my Indy sets are still in their boxes (in fact, four of the copies of Race for the Stolen Treasure are still cased, though the seal on the case has been broken). Temple Escape was the one I most enjoyed putting together (and subsequently playing with), I think. It's such a great set. Here's my list: Motocycle Chase, Jungle Duel, River Chase, Lost Tomb, Race for the Stolen Treasure. Now, I'm going to buy Temple Escape, Temple of Akator, Shanghai Chase, Ambush in Cairo and probably Jungle Cutter and Peril in Peru. By the way, is there a difference between the Brickmaster Set anf the ComicCon Set? The Brickmaster set is a subset of the Comic-Con set; the Comic-Con set has the whole Brickmaster set, plus additional elements. As I understand it, the box of the Comic-Con set actually contains a regular, full, polybagged copy of the Brickmaster set, just as you'd get it via a Brickmaster membership, along with a hand-sealed ordinary zip-loc baggie containing additional pieces (and instructions, I presume) to make the little jungle-covered monument thingie and the Ugha warriors. I don't think the set had a "real" factory production line since it was such a limited-edition thing (only 500 copies), after all. Since the large slope "ramp" elements in the set use the same decal as the one at the entryway into the Chachapoyan temple in Temple Escape, it apparently just comes with two copies of the whole Temple Escape sticker sheet, complete with the markings for Jock's plane and all.
January 27, 201015 yr Author Remember, folks, we want to see pictures of your collection, not just lists. Anyone can type a list, but it's far more interesting if you share your collection, layout, and/ or MOCs (that are in your layout).

Anyone can type a list, but it's far more interesting if you share your collection, layout, and/ or MOCs (that are in your layout). Believe me, I'd like to see my collection layout, too! I did make a point of explaining the current non-displayed status of my set inventory, and how I'd like to change it. I'm currently subject to certain display limitations dictated by my living space. But I really do plan to post pics of my Indy sets eventually (and MOCs, too)! Edited January 27, 201015 yr by Blondie-Wan
February 2, 201015 yr Here is my medium sized collection. 8 sets in total, all from the classic trilogy save for the Temple of the Crystal Skull (I'm a sucker for large sets on baseplates...) Ambush in Cairo in front, with Temple Escape in the back (the plane is elevated on a technic beam) Temple of the Crystal Skull with full sticker treatment Shanghai Chase, Lost Tomb, and half of Venice Canal Chase The second boat from the canal chase, Fighter Plane Attack (sitting on a metal stand), and Fight on the Flying Wing Nothing terribly special but not a bad start. I of course would not mind owning the rest of the IJ sets, but realistically I plan on picking up The Temple of Doom (on sale though), Race for the Stolen Treasure, and Motorcycle Chase at some point. February 3, 201015 yr Author Yes! Finally we have another collection! Nice one, Z06, I really like how you displayed the planes at a raised level. Be warned, though, that the Temple of Doom will probably take up a whole shelf length-wise. You can probably fit in a small set or two between the tracks, but it is pretty long. Luckily for you, you have tall shelves, so it will probably fit height-wise. I had to take off the two glow-in-the dark points on the altar.
February 5, 201015 yr Alas, my collection is one set smaller now; I returned one of my Fighter Plane Attacks for a refund today, as my finances are really really tight at the moment and I decided I needed the extra money to make it through the week. I'll try to pick up another copy when circumstances permit.
February 5, 201015 yr Thanks for sharing your pics everyone and for Jimbee for starting this topic! I've recently been packing a whole lot of stuff away. The collection of the first wave of Indy sets has been sitting on a shelf for two years was one to be dismantled - its rare I have anything assembled that long - and it did remind me how well the sets were designed. Yes, there are some exciting new licenses and themes, but Indy is definitely special Z06, I especially like your display, although I agree with Jimbee that the Temple of Doom is an absolute pain to display. I ended up dismantling the mine cart and kept the altar section just by itself for a while.
February 5, 201015 yr I'm seriously considering picking up the Temple of Doom this weekend as part of a TRU buy 1 get 1 half off deal, but I really hate to dedicate so much lovely shelf space to one set (I'd most likely be getting the Home One as the other set ... and it's not exactly small either... ) More and more I've been suspending sets from shelves using fishing line or building small stands using coat hanger wire to help free up shelf space - it's working quite well but it will only take me so far. Maybe I'll just buy a Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins and have my desert Adventurers theme complete, as well as satisfy some large temple cravings. Decisions, decisions...
February 12, 201015 yr Here is my home Indy collection, It is medium sized with 10 sets on display but some sets are missing sections, like little vehicles and scenery (and for temple escape the WHOLE temple) It's all on one shelf so a lot of things are smushed together, but I like it that way. I've got sets from all four movies and I've got a few funny scenes comments, questions, concerns? p.s. you can see willie riding on her elephant through the temple of doom, sorry for forgetting a pic.
February 13, 201015 yr Author Nice collection, Sok, thanks for sharing. I like all of the little bits that replicate the more memorable scenes from the movies- especially the added elephant, sword fight on the "duck", and Indy hanging on the front of the cargo truck. It's also great to see that someone else enjoys watching Dovenchiko getting devoured by ants over and over again.
May 20, 201014 yr Here is my collection with 10 sets, i got all the sets one time. I'm trying to collect the other 6 sets that are left. I know they are blurry, sorry. Edited May 20, 201014 yr by ???theriddler???
May 23, 201014 yr Nice! I knew I should of bought those temple sets while I had the chance, they look so attractive now.
May 24, 201014 yr I didn't display some of my Indy stuff. To tell the truth, I hated the big plane set, and disliked the Crystal Skull temple, and instantly dismantled them, leaving just the little vehicle accompaniments out. But I left the Lost Tomb out for a year. And the Chauchilla cemetary, Shanghai Chase and Stolen Treasure Chase are still floating around my room. Not worth taking a shot of though.

It's basically the same with me. I took apart my Cairo Ambush and spread it everywhere no long after I got it. The Jungle Duel has been used in several places, but is mainly missing right now. My Motorcycle chase isn't exsactly built either, but the bikes are lying around. My Treasure Chase and River Chase are still in MOC-form, as seen here. I had the Lost Tomb for a while, but destroyed to make a MOC soon to be seen in Conflict at Africa. My Shanghai Chase is also used for different MOCs- but the basic chassis is still built. My Cemetary is also being used for something else. The Canal chase and Fighter Chase are the only sets still intact.
May 29, 201014 yr Wow, nice collections eveyone. A little off topic (I didn't want to start a new thread) has anyone seen these at Lego stores (or anywhere) anymore? They are still on the website.
