Adding insult to the fact, the Percy Jackson movie also portrayed the realm of Hades as a fiery pit of eternal suffering (ie. Christian Hell). The movie managed to spoil everything that was good in the books, anyway.

As for this "Titans. Will. Clash" movie, I have zero interest in seeing it. I was really into the Greek mythology as a kid, and I hate to see it raped like that. Plus I hear it's all action and zero plot, so there. :sceptic:

Keep in mind it's a remake of a somewhat action oriented film. Sure the action in the original was toned down more due to special effects and also films back then just moved slower. However I do think that it did not have as much love or feel to it as do films like Jason and the Argonauts do.

I think what's wierd though is that they completely remade Perseus's story in both versions. First off there were three Gorgons in it and they were actually in north america (In the myth they say across the ocean on the edge of the world which would have placed it in north america somewhere.)

The movie was... well... eh, :hmpf_bad: . "Titans will clash"? Didn't happen. The god's didn't even fight, They just "Released the kraken!". Other then the epic battles (all not involving a god) the movie had a story line very hard to follow, I would have fallen asleep if they didn't make the battles. And for a spoiler,

the Kraken was only killed (more like defeated) as of Perseus using Medusa's head (with he had to get) to turn the Kraken into stone. Were was the epic human vs. Kraken battle? Nowhere

. Oh and the Mechanical Owl was only shown, Perseus just looked at it and tossed it back into the box he found it in.

Go see the movie if your looking for epic battles (Not including the Kraken! :hmpf_bad:), I did enjoy them, other wise... :hmpf_bad:

I honestly did not mind the inaccuracies, as I thought the film was good, even after reading the original myth. I can assure you that 2d is the way to see it with, as dragonboy said, 3d makes the people look like cardboard cutouts. And, it had enough story for me, but that might have been since I knew what was going on after reading the story.
