Ras 74 Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 There is no need really to ask any questions. I just wanted to raise the exitement. Not many posts in here. Why the newer Eventees doesn´t I can understand in one way, but the older ones... Quote
Henning M. Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Hi all Well the main reason that I have not raised many questions, is that we have the anual danish brickfest the weekend before the EB event. sooooo.... I am a bit busy building. But I am looking very much forward to see you all. I were in LL last saturday for the opening and tried out the new thing called the temple. Super activity I must say. All the best Henning M. Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 Can you tell us a little about what the Temple is about Henning? Hope you will have a blast at the Brickfest, and see you very soon. Quote
Jipay Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I'm super excited. The only remaining question is : what car to take us there ? This will be my first time in billund and I have high expectations for the park, as it seems much better than the german one is. It'll also be great to see you guys again. From what I understood, this year was tough for all of us, so it can only be a good opportunity to gather for some days : it'll be like a breath of fresh air ! Quote

We will probably go with mine. But it would be better if I could lure the company car from my boss. We all know how it use to look in the cars when going home Quote
Henning M. Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Ohhh all those decisions when choosing the car for the journey I think I will stick to old trusty. And for the activity, The temple is basicaly a shoot them up game where you take a trip down adventure lane in a car / vehicle taken right out of the old adventure sets (Pharao) see more here http://www.legoland.dk/?lc=en All the best Henning M. Jipay Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Still got the A3? Or did you upgrade. Upgraded to RS4. The fuel consumption is astronmical though. Petrol for the car or petrol for the bricks ? That is the question. Quote
Ras 74 Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 Upgraded to RS4. The fuel consumption is astronmical though.Petrol for the car or petrol for the bricks ? That is the question. Hmmm... Lovely car! Well, if we all were to think like that we would be walking or going with bicycles. Quote
Jipay Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Pretty much. I didn't quite get the hotel payment thing : are we paying at the end of the stay or is there a reservation fee to be paid ? Quote
Legoman Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Hey Guys I'm leaving tomorrow, so if there anything I should know before the event, Please don't hesitate to let me know, as I'll have quite limited internet usage from then on, and I'll be busy around the place. Ras, I'll PM you my Cell soon Quote
Ras 74 Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 @ Legoman: That is all cool. I know all of when you will arrive and departure. There is not much more that you will need to know of as now. Pretty much. I didn't quite get the hotel payment thing : are we paying at the end of the stay or is there a reservation fee to be paid ? There was a reservation fee. I have taken care of this, and everyone will pay at arrival. So we are all good now. Quote
Holodoc Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Petrol for the car or petrol for the bricks ? That is the question. Great! That surely deserves to become a new title... Quote
Holodoc Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I was asking myself about the strange money we will have to pay with in Denmark. Do I really have to exchange my hard earned money with DKK? Or do they accept € (everywhere or only at the park) as well. I always loose money when buying foreign currencies at my bank, but I propably will do so, too, when paying with € in Denmark... What do you guys think and how do you handle it? Is it better to have some amount (how much) in DKK as well? Quote
KimT Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 You can use EUR is the park. It's expensive though. I think the rate is 7 Dkr to 1 EURO, whereas the normal rate is 7,50 Dkr to 1 EURO. If you have a VISA card then it's no problem - not sure about MasterCard and other cards though. (No "Carte Bleu" Frenchies ) Quote
