I totally love ninjas and samuraus, so I was very sad to find out there had been a ninja theme while I was in my dark ages. I want some ninja themed LEGO!

Signed.

If it worked for Harry Potter and Pirates, why can't it work for ninjas?

Did it work for those or did TLG just do some market research on what to launch?

Better get back to the Star Wars threads KimT, don't want you to lose that icon of yours!

Anyways consider this signed by me as well! :classic:

Hmm I'm debating wether to sign or not. For reasaon a) is because I think that there would be some pretty poor sets that are just rehashes of old with bley and newer parts. Also because they would probably change the ninja fig.

Anyway since you are all for it I guess I kind of have to.

Sign me up, I myself am a huge Japan fan, manga, anime, Ninja, etc...

I would love to see the return of the Ninja line.

One thing though we can look forward to is the black Ninja in the collectible figures line coming out later in the year:

This is one figure I will try to hoard... Yay!

I will add my name to this list.

A historic type Feudal Japan theme where we have Ninja vs Samurai would be awesome. Just imagine if they got into civlian type sets eventually.

I doubt we will see it any time soon. One of the reasons why I have quite likely the world's largest ninja collection is because of how poorly it sold the first time. It was discounted for months before they could get rid of everything. I've still got CASES of sets that I haven't opened yet.

Hi,

I think a new Ninja-theme would be great. ...but only Ninja? ->No!

I am very glad when we see fortified villages ( there live the Samurai), a confraternity of monksbeauty (great/ and small) temples with gardens.

A chinese sailship with chinese soldiers against a japanese sailship with samurai soldiers.

I am very glad when we see the japanese and the chinese "Civil Live" with beauty mansions, theaters, streets filled with rickshawes, market place with many civilians, a palace where to live the Emperor of China/Japan... the ideas are endless.

Those themes give LEGO very much potential!

For the elderly (Exclusive Sets) and for the kids (Play-Sets).

Lucky you... Now I just got jealous. I don't have a single LEGO ninja :cry_sad: Feel like donating some of those unopened sets to me?

Dear all,

Since this petition has started, and I really hope we can see some progress, but personally I think the best way for us to promote the presence of Ninja despite discontinuation for more than a decade, why not we start to do some MOCs, share collection, or do some reviews. I think this is the best manner to prove that we really want Ninja back. Look at what our Pirates fans in Eurobricks Community has done, despite of the end of the Classic Pirates in the 1990s. These collectors kept on building and sharing, and eventually the Pirates did come back. I think doing it in this fashion will really help and much approriate to grab TLG attention.

Let's do what we can do, by "showing" instead of "typing".

Yes, your're right. I think we all should make more ninja MOC's. Well, I better get started

Mr. Phes is who comes to my mind first when I think of "showing" rather than "typing"....even though he doesn't MOC very often. If you really want Ninjas to return, try to be like Mr. Phes, help out in every way possible to show the Lego Company how bad you want Ninjas to return.

The Ninja theme was one of the best at the time it was released, and even though I only got two or three sets, I'd love to have it back. (Plus I need more than just red Ninjas :P)

Ninjas or any medieval/historic Asian themed sets would probably do best in Asia. South Korean based clone brick company, Oxford, has a ton of historic Asian themed sets. In the Western world, well at least America anyway, Asian history is fairly neglected compared to everything else. I wouldn't expect them to sell as well in North America and Europe as, say, the Pirates line.

But hey, you never know. At least there will be a Ninja and martial artist in the collectible minifig line.

I would buy every single set. I so want this theme back. It would be amazing.

I still try and buy the old sets and there is a lot of interest in it. both ninja and samurai in one theme is good enouigh. but they could bring in a dragon or even a Kitsune(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitsune)

It would have a massive audience and market it would be worth them bringing it back.

Was Ninjago LEGO's answer concerning this petition?

What do you think: Are crazy skeletons cooler as real Samurais or were two real medieval themes too much stuff at the same time. Could it be that a Kingdoms theme and a real Ninja theme were to be in competition? :look:
